Good Value on the Strip
Just got back from a weekend in Vegas and stayed at the Luxor Hotel. The rates were good for the Strip, and the hotel has plenty to offer. We were there for a softball tourney, so didn't have loads of time to enjoy the hotel, but we did sneak in the Bodies exhibit. Very cool! I heard from other guests that the Titanic exhibit was good as well.

Beware
I stayed 2 nights in the pyramid, the staff was courteous and let us check in early. One bad aspect of this hotel was the elevators we used 3B elevators and they were downright scary! Shaking, noisy, rough, the whole bit. Our room was also very far from the elevator. During the night we could hear sirens and ambulances from the strip, and it was windy on our first night and we could hear the wind blow loudly up the side panes of our window. The real downer was on day 2 the housekeeping staff took our shampoo, shower gel, and bar soap- but they only replaced the bar soap. When we got in that evening i went to take a shower and noticed that the shampoo and shower gel were gone! Very annoying and i have never had that occur in any of the hotels i have stayed in. I regret not spending a little more money and staying elsewhere. I will never stay here again.

Luxor on the strip
You can't beat the price for a place on the strip! The hotel itself is a little dated but clean. Staff was helpful with making plans for activities.

Luxor Hotel and Casino
We really liked this hotel, a little bit on the older side, but it was still very nice inside. We loved how we had access to, mandalay bay and the excalabor with out having to exit the front of the casino, we thought that was really neat, we didnt have to walk outside, because it was fairly cold. Our only complaint is they have a very annoying practice alarm that rings throughout the casino and rooms. Very stardling, not something nice to wake up to. other than that, i would stay here agani.
