Crazy weekend
Stayed here because of USA Rugby sevens. Had a great time because of the convenience of the hotel location. Apart from the rooms not having wi-fi, everything was great.

Great Rugby Weekend
Hotel was great, atmosphere was great, the Brand nightclub/lounge bar is a bit bizzare and small, but the craic was good! Couldn't get a drink for love nor money at Ignite Bar, me thinks they need to employ some more staff for that bar!!! Oh and ones that can smile maybe and be presonable??? Overall a great stay for some quality rugby!

loved it
right from the start it was A+. they let us check in early, at 11am, check in was easy. Room was clean, staff was great. Only issue was no fridge in room. Otherwise everything was perfect, and in a perfect location!

Unhelpful front desk
Checked in 6pm but when we got to the room it wasn't ready yet. Called the front desk to complain but did nothing. The guy on the front desk was even rude...

This hotel has everything at arms length. The lobby has all you need for the whole stay. good food wifi desserts casino. Resort charge a little dissapointing but other then that a very nice place to stay would do again . and right out the front door is everything you will need .

Is a good choice
Is my 7th trip to Las Vegas and my 3rd stay at the Monte Carlo. Is a well located hotel, in the lobby you have Starbucks, Sbarro and some other chain eaterie. Plus you'll find a good buffet, Diablo Cantina, Ignite Bar, The Cafe restaurant (very good service and food). So you have the pool, casino, restaurants, coffe, sports bar, normal bar, and the Hotel is really well located in the strip. In my room I had a large LCD TV and the beds were good, not as good as the Aria Hotel ones but is half the price. The only con is the bathtub water wasn't flowing down fast enough so I think it needs some maintenance. I have stayed in several Hotels in Las Vegas and I think this is the best when you relate what you get for what you are paying.

Nice but housekeeping could use some training.
Went to front desk check-in to let them know garbage was left in the nightstand drawer and half empty bottles of shampoo left on the tub. Later in the day room was done but none of our complaints addressed. Talked to a manager at front desk and was assured it would be taken care of. Gave a food credit, was very nice. Went back to room later and the bathroom issue was done but not the garbage in nightstand. Waited until the day before we left to let them know. After 3 times, finally resolved. Staff was very nice. Would stay again and hope for better housekeeping.

One Night Stand
I moved over to the Monte Carlo for my last night in Vegas after a few nights at our conference hotel downtown. I wanted to be on the strip in the action. In the end I found myself having a great dinner at the italian restaurant in the building, enjoying a chilled drink in minus 5 degree and having a winning experience in the friendly poker room. A nice time at a great price!

Budget Four Seasons Experience
This was my first time staying at the Monte Carlo. The hotel was extra convenient to a business conference but not my usual place, which is the Four Seasons. I have stayed at the Four Seasons Las Vegas over 25 nights since that hotel opened. What immediately struck me was the look alike nature of the Monte Carlo and the Four Seasons, and the Monte Carlo is a third of the cost. Same decorative theme. Very nice room. Very comfortable bed. The Monte Carlo give up was a lack of careful attention to the mainteneance of the room: there was an empty water bottle under the bed and a wad of gum on the wall. The shower control fixture was cheap, old and loose. The television proclaimed "weak or no signal" for many channels. But the staff was pleasant and attentive. The price was great and the convenience to restaurants and the casino was superior. Did I mention that the price was great. I would return.
