Great time at the New York-New York
I have stayed at many places in Las Vegas, but I must say this was one of my favorites and the best value for money spent. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Check in was quick, room service very reasonably priced, the dealers friendly-all in all a great place to stay. No complaints whatsoever! Nothing too pricey. Restaurants were good and the staff was always helpful. Would definitely like to go back!

We were pleased with everything except trying to redeem our free show tickets that came with our trip booking, the woman at the new york new york box office was very rude and would not help to explain the process. She had no time to help and only wanted to sell show tickets. I found someone else to help me out. other than that all was great.

Practically a Local
Great for the Price
This was my fist time actually staying at NYNY, and It was exactly 4 stars. The room was the standard 400sq ft room, plenty of space, great king bed, nice bathroom, modern TV plenty of outlets for charging your gadgets. I would say if you get to choose your location in the hotel avoid the "New Yorker" tower just based on it's proximity to the roller-coaster, because you hear that thing constantly, and if you want to treat yourself to the spa or gym, you've got a looooong walk. But the casino floor was fun, played $5 Blackjack and left a winner also a 10 minute walk to the poker room at MGM grand for great no-limit hold'em. The food was super, and both meals for two including drinks were less than $50. So I'd def choose NYNY again for my next extended stay.

The front desk employees were nice and you could tell they enjoyed their job and they were nothing but happy to tell you all about what was going on inside their casino/hotel. It was a VERY clean casino and again people really enjoy working there you can tell. The New York City walk where al the restaurants are was nice and comfortable and it has everything New York as far as food goes! The rooms were perfect size for two people who want to gamble, see the strip, and sleep in.

I have stayed at several places along the Las Vegas Strip....this by far was the most comfortable place! The rooms were super quiet. My husband and I never heard a single thing out of the rooms next door to us and yes, there were people staying in them. The room was beyond clean and always well maintained all three days we were there. Also, the staff was extremely helpful! With the location, comfortable atmosphere, and cleanliness of the rooms, one can't go wrong with this pick!

Boulder City-The Coffee Cup for breakfast! Boulder City is a quaint and cute lil city. With the recommendation of Guy Fieri from Diners Drive Ins and Dives, we had to try it. The Coffee Cup is a quirky lil joint with super amazing classics as well as some new flavors on the menu. The pork chilli verde omelette was "off the hook"!

Gay Man's Fun Getaway
Great experience. The hotel's room was a good size with a great view. It stated is was a king size bed - but it was not a true king size bed - it was more like a larger queen. The bed was comfortable and the housekeeping service did a great job. I was surprised the room did not have a refrigerator. They normally charge for one. However - if you need a refrigerator for medical usage, they do not charge for it. The Hotel layout was well done, and its New York City theme was fun. I saw a Cirque du Soleil show featured in New York New York. I found the adult themed show extraordinary well done - the theme centered around sensuality made you feel good about yourself and the fun side of sexuality. I loved the Valet Service and highly recommend it. It's easy, extremely convenient and for a few dollars saves the trouble of traipsing through a parking lot. Finally, the Hotel's location is extremely convenient. Located at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Ave - access to the highway is 1 block away. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

New York New York does not have a buffet. Many nearby hotels do offer their own buffet - and the walk to other Hotels are fun - as there is a lot to see on the strip. I would HIGHLY recommend googling "buffet reviews" for the Hotels. It gave me insight into both the quality and cost of the buffets. Before choosing your dates of visit - check the vegas.com (or call them) and find out what are the major performers and attractions. Also check Groupon.com. They offer all sorts of deals, including a 2 for 1 hot air balloon ride or 1/2 priced helicopter rides over the strip or over the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon
