Plaza Hotel! A must stay in haven

I love the Plaza Hotel, it has the old "rat pack" glamour updated with a modern twist. Most of the staff was professional, although my check out clerk was really slow and not all that friendly. My room faced the Strip so it was awesome to see the sun come up with the Strip in the background. Room was very comfortable.

Weekend Getaway

I like to stay downtown and I had never stayed at The Plaza. The rate was very good for Friday and Saturday night (under $170 out the door). The room was a King in the North Tower facing Main St Station and The California. We loved our room. It was clean and stylish. The bathroom was a little small but that was not an issue for us. We were there on vacation but this had a great for a workspace. It had a nice work desk as well as a couch with a small coffee table. Check in was fast at around 10:30pm on a Friday night only about a 10 min wait in line, then really quick check in. The Hash House-A-GoGo is awesome and a must have for breakfast. There was a Funbook with plenty of savings, we didn't use them, but there were some good savings in there. The cocktail waitresses where older and so where the gamblers so, if that is a big deal, you may want to stay somewhere else. In short I would return.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Free shows and food options that run range in price from low ball to high class. The Freemont Experience and Downtown is awesome and all within a short walk.

Getaway

Valet parking was great. Its really nice to have this. Its great that it is right there by Fremont Street. Wish there was some good entertainment at this hotel, but there was plenty on Fremont Street. Wasn't able to find Keno not sure if they have it here but would have like to play. Overall it was not bad and we had a good time. Thank You!!

I paid for what I got. It was very close to where I want to be at (Downtown Vegas), so I have nothing to complain about that. I wouldn't mind coming back to the same hotel again.
