Residence Inn by Marriott Las Vegas Hughes Center

Meeting friends, and wishing to avoid the negatives of Vegas, I booked here. The grounds were clean, green, quiet, and attractive. Personnel were polite, pleasant, and responsive. The hotel and room were clean and comfortable - everything was spotless (new?) and fresh. The kitchen equipment clean and serviceable. Coffee equipment and supplies - standard meh. Breakfast lobby/patio breakfast satisfyingly good in peaceful ambiance. Lobby medicine cabinet well stocked and broad range of vending machine snacks offered . A mile from strip, $8.50 for a taxi to the strip; or straight, easy drive to strip (park at Flamingo and walk). In all, it was the BEST part of my Las Vegas stay - after a day out, it was a joyful relief to return to the hotel. Appreciate the complimentary wireless and safe parking. Good for family group with polite, well-behaved children. Take mini-monsters elsewhere.

I was in a bodybuilding competition so I needed a kitchen to make my food while there. This was the most reasonably priced place with a full kitchen. The maids came in and even did our dishes for us! It's close to restaurants, the strip, and grocery stores. Everything was within 2 miles of the hotel. The even had free dinner during the week, free breakfast daily, and free wi-fi/parking.

The room was great. Very comfortable bed, lots of hot water early in the morning. Desk staff wwent out of thbe way to be helpful. Hot breakfast had a variety, even had fresh fruit available.

Great location, friendly staff made our stay a great one would recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Considering it was New Years Eve....it was quite under control. The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise.

Overall the hotel was OK. For the price i paid on an average i expected a little better room. The room was pretty old ( old tv, dated outlet, smaller than pictured room). The location was a lot off location than i had expected, it added to our travel time and time spent on cabs. However, the hotel staff were courteous and helpful, polite. Overall i would give 2.5 stars, i had a good time, but not exact value for money. When i booked the room, the description sounded like i was getting modern amenities, i was particularly disappointed with the TV provided, it was a very old cranky CRT when the booking indicated it would be a plasma television. We had a good view because we got the 8th floor, but it was off location and it looked secluded at night. Infact just off the entrance there were some low quality places and folks that were misbehaving, certainly a point of bother for families. I think for the money paid a better more centrally located and modern place was in order.

I started my Vegas Vacation in the Residence Inn by Marriott. The room was huge, had a full size refrigerator, microwave and a stove, Also, Free WIFI. This was a pleasant surprise for my wife and I. The kids loved the pool and Breakfast was included.. It's roughly 1 mile from the Vegas strip and it's pleasant to come back to a hotel that has NO casino in it..

I thought the Marriott Residence Inn was very nice. It had a kitchen set up with a frig, dishwasher, stove, counter and stools to eat at and dishes and silverware which is good when you have children. It also allows you to bring the family pet which is hard to find in a hotel. Not every hotel is pet friendly. The pool was a good size. The rooms were kept clean. The staff was very cordial. They had a buffet breakfast every morning and between Monday and Thursday they served a hot dinner all FREE. If you wanted to eat out there were many restaurants in walking distance. I recommend this hotel for family and pets.
