Awesome trip.

I had no problems, the beds were comfy, I stayed 2 day. Plenty of places to eat if you get hungry especially near by. Valet parking in the back did a great job! For the money, a good place to stay.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Vegas nightclubs and the DJs that power them are magnets for young, hot partiers. Remember clubs aren't open every night and definitely heat up on weekends. Be sure to check schedules. Also keep in mind that if you're not styling your superfine Vegas attire, you're definitely not getting in.

Good Stay

This was my second time staying at the Riviera in the Monaco Tower. Early check-in was not an issue. The bed at the Riviera is among my favourites in the world. So comfy!! It is a bit further away and out of the action, but it's a fairly short walk to Fashion Show Mall. Overall, fantastic value!

Riviera Hotel comfortable

We stayed three nights at this hotel. Even though it's getting on in years, it still is a decent place. It may not have all the bells and whistles of the fancier ones, but it is clean and comfortable. They may be in the process of refreshing some areas. There were places obviously emptied and cleaned maybe waiting for the new machines. Our room was on the 48th floor and the window faced the back. Not a pleasant view but we really did not care as much of our time was spent outside of it. The room and the bed itself was really clean. The towels fresh. It also seemed well-insulated no noise seeped in. The Riviera casino was the one where we gambled the most. The machines seemed more generous than the other ones we visited. Also Wicked Vicky, on the casino floor, had a nice breakfast, 5 for $5 and dinner for $9 for hamburger and beer (or another non-alcoholic drink of your choice) as well as some other entrees. The only thing not so good was the parking. The close by parking garage seemed always to be full. I think because Riviera is also a convention center. Sometimes it's a pain to walk from the farther garage, especially when that cold desert wind is present. This was the second time I stayed in Riviera and it can't be beat for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

Below average hotel stay

The hotel stay was below average, at best. The line to check-in took about 45 minutes and the room had very minimal amenities. The shower head was moldy and the sheets on the bed were not clean. The only good thing about the hotel was that it was on the strip but was still a mile walk to any of the strip attractions.
