Super Bowl Weekend
It's been a few years since I've stayed at the Tropicana. I have to say I was very impressed at the number of improvements they've done to the casino and the hotel rooms. I enjoyed my stay so much, I would probably stay there again in the future.

so and so
This was my first time in Vegas so I had some high expectations for this hotel. At the time, the pool and some parts of the hotel was undergoing renovation and we were bummed out that we couldn't at least cool off under the hot Vegas sun. The casino floor and lobby looked squeaky clean but still felt small when compared to the other hotels that we visited. The room was very nice though and the staff did an ok job with helping us out. We had a nice view of the MGM Grand, which is right across the street. I do wish that the hotel had better restaurants and some form of nightlife that appeals to a young crowd.

Will Do It Again
The Trop was great. We didn't spend much time there, its a small casino/hotel compared to its neighbors...but it has neighbors. Awesome ones. Location is excellent. We ended up with a corner room, nice and big. A downside is if airplanes annoy you...hotel borders the airport and our room was under a flight path or two. Didn't bother us, but I know it would some. A nicer, bigger food court would be nice too...but like I mentioned, it is a small place. The only 24/7 cafe is Starbucks. Bottom line, we'd stay here again.

Quiet weekend in Vegas
This hotel is a good distance away from the busy sidewalks and commotion . Casino itself is not too smokey and overwhelmingly big and loud. Good mix of young and middle age people.

Can't really complain
This hotel is still undergoing a renovation, but seems nearly done and much needed from what it used to be. Our room was comfortable and all we needed was a bed, shower and toilet. We had breakfast at the beach cafe buffet and it was actually pretty good. We don't normally like buffets, either.

Less than Average
The beds needs to be changed once in a while, they are not really what you expect for a 4-Stars Hotel, unconfortable. The parking lot is not enough for Hotel guests and Hotel personnel and the valets have all the upper level just for them. First time and for sure last time at the Tropicana. Maintenance in the rooms must be done more frequently.

Good spot in Vegas
We got a good deal at the Tropicana by booking early. I was a little frustrated because we had to pay a $19 resort fee (even though the pool was closed for the season). Lots of hotels in Vegas charge this sort of mandatory fee. Otherwise, it was a well put together, clean, and up to date venue.
