Infant friendly, smoke free, non-gaming hotel. .
Very nice, modern and stylish hotel in a great location. The big plus - it is smoke free, non-gaming hotel. Perfect if you travel with an infant. The rooms were very quiet, we could not hear any neighbors. The minus - pull out couch was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. Next time I will book a bigger room or an extra room, so no one has to sleep on it. Hotel staff was very professional and helpful.

Stranded At Vdara!
Thanks to Northeast snow I got stuck at Vdara for 3 days -- Lucky Me! Fantastic location, awesome rooms, better comforts than home. Loved the non-smoking/non casino atmosphere. Short walk to Aria for all the action and great dining. Only one small complaint -- need more water pressure from the shower head! I will stay at Vdara again for sure...

Romantic getaway
The deluxe suite we stayed in was very spacious and modern. We had a nice view of the Bellagio fountain show. The blackout shades were wonderful for sleeping in. You can't beat the location with the hotel being in City Center next to the Cosmo and Aria. Vdara is a non- gaming hotel so it is quieter than the casino hotels but Aria is right next door should you have the urge to try your luck at the casino. We didn't care for the valet parking too much as it can be time-consuming but most of the high end hotels only offer valet parking. I would definitely stay here again.

Short walk from hotel
There aren't many dining options inside the hotel but a short walk away (across the street via the bridge) is the miracle mile shops and there are restaurants in that mall. Walgreens is right across the street too if you need any toiletries or water (or liquor).

5 star gem
I've stayed at several 5 star hotels but Vdarra is by far the best. We had a city view corner suite with all of the amenities. The kitchen, living room, huge bathroom, fabulous king size bed. Even a washer and drier! The staff was so friendly and accomodating. I also love the no smoking policy. It is centrally located with easy access to the rest of Vegas. And In and Out Burger is right down the street :) I highly recommend Vdarra and look forward to our next stay.

Nice relaxing luxury experience
The Vdara offered exactly what I was looking for when I booked it: a relaxing luxury experience in the center of town. We arrived late and the staff was accommodating; we got an upgrade to a panoramic suite and coupon to 2 free buffets (it's Vegas after all). The room had 270 degree views as promised albeit on a low floor. Nonetheless, the rooms are nicely decorated with high ceilings, stainless steel kitchen appliances, plentiful dark wood accents, big tub facing the window (albeit not jetted) and comfy couch and armchair in sitting room. Exactly what you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. Relaxing in the room, even though not that high above the strip, I felt removed from it all - encapsulated in a quiet relaxing, tastefully decorated space. The plush robes certainly helped too. The hotel was accommodating of our late check-out, offering us 4pm, although we had to call back the day of check-out (initially we were given a tentative 12 noon time but advised to call back on day of check out since late checks out depend on availability - we called back day of check out and got 4pm). Housekeeping did call at about 3pm to see when we were checking out - didn't quite appreciate that although such things are understandable in large hotels. One tip, if you're using a rental car, ask them about having a valet park it. I didn't and so I parked at the Aria self park. It's not a big inconvenience, the tram takes you straight from Aria parking to Vdara in a few min (it's a short distance and the two monorail trams are constantly going back and forth) but makes somethings (like getting a pizza at a highly reviewed but way off strip pizza parlor and going shopping on the way back) a bit more complicated. Overall, it was the quiet and relaxing indulgence I was looking for and I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking to go to Vegas anytime soon and seeks the same kind of relaxing experience.

Short walk from hotel
You can walk to the Aria buffet and Aria promenade venues from Vdara. Don't take the tram to Crystals/Aria stop and walk all the way through the casino. If you're at Vdara and want to go to an Aria "promenade venues," like the buffet, walk straight out the Vdara lobby and across.

Awesome weekend getaway
Beautiful modern hotel located just off the strip. Easy access to shopping, casinos, and restaurants. Bring a good pair of walking shoes if you wish to venture a little farther from the hotel. Otherwise, hail a cab, or plan on getting a good workout. There's no self parking, but the valet is worthwhile.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
buy the 24 hour meal plan that gives you access to several hotel buffets. Start out with a late dinner and then you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner the next day since it is based on a 24 hour period. Also the buffets are more expense on the weekends and better so buy the plan on a Saturday night and then go into Sunday with your 24 hour period.
