4 Star Experience at a 5 Star Hotel
This hotel has all the trimmings of a 5-star hotel. Its luxury, service, and location will really "wow" you. Unfortunately, they have allotted a lot of floor space in the hotel for a very aggressive timeshare company. These people are ruthless, pushy, and aggressive, and they will not leave you alone. The majority of the time I was in the hotel, when I was supposed to be enjoying their gorgeous themed mall or taking a gondola ride down their indoor canal, I spent it avoiding the hotel entirely so I wouldn't have to be asked every five minutes whether I wanted to sign up for the "deal of a lifetime." Do yourself a favor and wait to stay at the Venetian until after this timeshare company finishes their resort in ten years or so. Then you might actually be able to enjoy your stay.

FUN FOR SENIORS, TOO!
WE ALWAYS SAVE MONEY BY STAYING HERE SINCE WE SPEND MORE TIME IN OUR ROOM THAN WE WOULD IF THE ROOM WAS NOT SO COMFORTABLE AND ATTRACTIVE. THE ONLY NEGATIVE WE HAD WAS THE PILLOWS WERE TOO SOFT. WE ENJOYED THE RESTUARANTS THERE. THE ONLY THING THAT COULD HAVE BEEN IMPROVED WAS IF THEY ADDED COFFEE POTS TO THEIR ROOMS -IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE COFFEE WHILE GETTING DRESSED BEFORE HEADING TO BOUCHONS FOR BRUNCH. WE DID APPRECIATE THE WINE GLASSES AND CORKSCREW!

Ist Vegas Trip
Staff were inflexible and unknowledgeable. Excessively charged amenties - I used up half my gambling budget on things like water or coffee. $9 for a small bag of peanuts/$13 for coffee from the hotel. Was able to get it for $5 from hotel shop but in NY - all that is complimentary. Coupons they offered were not worth it unless you were going to go to an ultra expensive restaurant. Not enough hooks in bathroom and not enough towels delivered for two, but the worst was lack of knowledge from staff. Already paid the extra hotel fee and when room printer didn't work they wanted me to pay another $16 to use business center or $1.50 a page to have them print it up. they also didn't even know that items faxed to them went to the business office and kept me tied to my room about 2 hours just to figure out why the printer didn't work and where the faxes were going. The staff just gave you blunt...we don't know...but you can do this for a charge! Would not stay there again, too many nice hotels on the strip to try out instead. Security also very inconsistent. Busiest and most risky time for thiefs was weekend and never had to show room key to get past security - come Monday morning when all is quiet - couldn't get near the elevators without a room key. Didn't make sense. Some of the pools were open but not very heated - including Jacuzzi. No reall instructions anywhere for computer hook up and use. had to call the front desk quite a few times and i think they were getting tired of me but yet they didn't have basic information in the hotel room - had to keep going to the desk to get it. Including map of hotel because it connects with the Palazzo and is huge! Free parking was a plus. Aside from hotel - had a great time at shows (although very over priced) and no one tells you that you can get half priced tickets from a ticket master on the strip. Toured the grand canyon by helicopter and that was nice trip although you don't get to see a ton of the canyon just the outer edge.

One of the best.
Last time in Vegas we stayed at Bellegio & were impressed. But Venetian was even better & bigger. Only down side was the pool; Bellagio is like a out door roman garden.
