bad room in a bad location with no good restaurant
my room was in a lodge across the street so no easy access to restaurant, etc. Informed at check-in that the steak house is closed Mon-Tues, just the burger-sandwich shop - bla, ugh. Had to bang my body against the room door to open it, watched blurry Monday Night Football on blurry old TV, had to kick the AC to stop it from rattling, old bla room - thought they had renovated all rooms in the last 30 years.My No Smoking room smelled of, you got it, cigarette smoke. I'll never stay here again.

Small time casino hotel
Indifferent staff at check in, and clerk did not know how to change room from smoking to the non smoking I had requested. The acoustics were bad...no soundproofing between rooms or under carpeting of rooms above...very noisy. The overall room was sufficient, but smokey coming into the "lobby" which was very poorly appointed. Not very impressive.

Could be better!
noisy room from rooftop air conditioners on roof outside our window. Windows do not close properly. Broken. OLD bed.Not a inviting room.

Was given a smoking room instead of nonsmoking as promised. Whwn I went to fix the problem, I was placed on hold for about an hour before I finally gave up. The housekeeping woke me up at 8am. Was lied to about all lower level rooms being booked as seen all were vacant. Rooms were big and clean though.

REEKED of cigarette smoke
The hotel REEKED with cigarette smoke. The hotel overall was clean, well kept and the staff was friendly. Somehow they managed to keep the smoke from the lobby, the non-smoking wing and one of the restaurants. But the smoke was unavoidable. My non-smoking room was nice and spacious but the bed was very uncomfortable. Bathroom was huge with lots of counter space. Restaurant (Katie's) was good for breakfast. But we made the mistake of eating dinner there on Prime Rib night. Our 20 minute wait was 40 minutes just to get a table and the service itself was slow and at times non-existent.

Good deal for this quality motel
Check in was easy but had to be done in the main hotel instead of the motel facility and then had to drive a short distance to the motel. Hotel breakfast in the coffee shop was OK but a bit slow. We were there to fish for trout and shoot Sporting Clays. Had to walk through the smoky casino to get to the coffee shop. The air conditioning never really got the room temperature down to a completely comfortable level. The room was very clean with above average comfort for the beds. They need more lighting in the rooms and one light for each bed.

The good the bad and the ugly
It was not clear we were staying in the motorlodge which is a good distance from the Casino so we tried to change to the main casino where our friends were going to be staying. Since we booked through [...] it was a hassle but finally they pulled it off and we paid the difference. The Hotel advised us to book directly the next time as the price is the same to avoid this hassle.

I do not reccommend the Steak house in the Casino, the service was slow and the food lukewarm when finally served. We complained and to their credit they did comp two of the meals and two glasses of wine. Meybe this was just an off night for them.
