Good location
My friends and I were seeing a concert nearby so this was just a quick stop, just a place we needed to sleep. The room was clean but had a funky smell. The staff was nice but needed a couple reminders to bring extra towels. Little disappointed that there weren't some extra amenities for the price such as a continental breakfast or at least some coffee offered (other than that you'd make in the room).

Great place to stay
The room was in great condition, and it was within walking distance for the wedding reception I was attending. There are many other restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

A hotel with potential
My daughter and I regularly stay at this hotel because of its convenience to a local event. Unfortunately, that's the only reason. The pool was evacuated because another swimmer was cut by a piece of glass. One of the elevators wasn't working properly and was getting stuck between floors. And, the breakfast buffet was a disaster. The food was ok but the service was terrible, and how much service to you have to provide at a buffet? We also had to ask for clean towels because one of ours was stained.

Not Bad
I traveled through for business one night. Everything was ok except the front desk said they couldn't give me a receipt because I booked on [...]. I need to get a receipt due to my expense reports. I finally got very annoyed and demanded she give me some kind of documentation showing I was there so I could submit for my expense report and she finally gave me something, somewhat of a receipt. Still was a hassle and I was annoyed. Other than that things were ok. Channels sucked on the TV.

Acceptable for the cost
We could see all of the renovations occuring at the hotel since last year, but were disappointed with the poor accessories - i.e. toilet paper, tissues. We actually had the cleaning staff cleaning our rooms past 4:00 on our first day there and wanted our privacy so just took the towels. The hotel was not full and could not understand waiting so late in the day interferring with our stay at the hotel.

Ate at ElGrande on the southside of Binghamton. Although restaurant is visually very attractive, food quality was below previous standards. Will not go back.

Very Convenient Location
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was super clean and the beds were great! The only downfall was that the room's supplies were bare minimum. There were only 2 towels, almost empty toilet paper and no extras like shower cap, lotion etc. I found it unusual that there was not a brochure about the hotel and it's services. Also there was no info available about the area's restaurants etc.

Work in progress
Overall the hotel was fine, but the little things added up to the "not a great value". Light blew out when we opened the door, remote didn't work, bathroom door didn't close completely, not enough towels for number of registered guests, no fridge, back of the room door had obviously not been painted properly, the neighborhood is a little sketchy after dark. The Chenango Promenade (riverside walking path) is provides a nice place to walk. The pool is old school big, not like contemporary hotel pools. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
