Better breakfast than most Super 8's
Motel quality very good for the price. Best part was the breakfast which included a make your own waffle with premade mix available. Oatmeal and fresh fruit were also options. This is much better than other Super 8 motels I have stayed at.

A Good Place to Sleep
The hotel grounds are attractive but the interior definitely needs an upgrade, kind of dark and dingy. Staff is friendly and the beds are comfy. The price of $118 a night including taxes, though was more than I would pay after staying there.

Nightlife tip:
Short drive from hotel
Downtown Binghamton is 5-minute drive from the Super-8. Mainly filled with college kids, the State Street strip keeps bumpin' till 3am Friday and Saturday nights and till 1am the rest of the week.

Worst stay ever
This was the worst stay of my life. Actually I did not stay, I left shortly after check in. The room was filthy, carpet not vacuumed, stained bed sheets and stained towels. I carry a blacklight and the amount of protein in the bathroom was overwhelming. I checked out immediately and now in the process of seeking a refund.

Fine room
We stayed in three rooms for a nearby college graduation. Rooms were in good shape - one had a dead TV remote, though. Hotel exterior a bit shabby, but reasonable and clean inside. Much of the hotel smelled like smoke, and one of our three nonsmoking rooms had a bad smoky scent. Breakfast had not been properly prepped, and they were out of the essentials, such as milk, orange juice, before 7:45. We had to rush to a nearby convenience store.

very bad
room was dirty, smelled of smoke, not cleaned properly by cleaning staff, hallways smelled of smoke as well. Phone charger missing from the room. bath towels had holes , toilet not cleaned, no hot water pressure to speak of. this was one of the worst places we have ever stayed at. We will never go back. I would rather sleep in my car. The promiased Breakfast buffet was a luke warm cup of coffee and cereal and toast.

a joke
i have stayed in this place a few times but this was definitely my last. we booked the room online but were told when we arrived that no rooms were available. eventually they found us a room but when my wife went and checked it out, she found that the sheets were stained with a fresh batch of tadpole pudding. she called the front desk and they gave her a new set of sheets that she had to put on the bed. they also gave her some towels (they forgot to supply them too). the next morning we put the sign on the doorknob that stated that we wanted the room "super clean". the housekeeping staff skipped the room entirely. the continental breakfast is a joke also.

not bad overall
overall this is not a bad place although the continental breakfast sucks. they water down the apple juice and serve a tanglike drink that they call oj. sometimes the waffle maker isnt working either. one day we got back to our room and the door was open. but the place isnt bad otherwise.

Don't Stay Here!
We stayed in this hotel while visiting family in the area for the holiday. When we arrived, the non-smoking room we booked smelled of cigarettes, so we asked to change rooms. They informed us the previous person who had that room smoked (why was he smoking in a non-smoking room??) so they gave us another room. This room had not been vacuumed, and being that the man who was in it perviously had been in it for a month, the floor was disgusting. There was also an empty water bottle behind the door, and his toiletries were still in the shower. So while we went out to eat, the woman at the front desk had to vacuum our room. Our sinks and shower were clogged, and we didn't even bother to tell anyone at this point. After returning to our room for the last night we were staying there, we discovered that housekeeping had left our door propped open. We didn't think it was too big of a deal since all of our valuables were with us, and the only thing in there were clothes. Well, today I discovered a pair of boots I had with me did not make the trip home. I don't remember packing them when we left, and I know we triple checked the room before leaving and nothing was in there. Soooo, either housekeeping liked them and took them or someone went into our open room and helped themselves... i wouldn't recommend staying here. The walls are paper thin and I could hear snoring, coughing, and talking from the rooms next to me.
