Great Stay
After reading some reviews, I was hesitant to stay here, but all the negative reviews, I couldn't disagree with more. The rooms, staff, and location were all excellent in downtown Buffalo. I would stay here again! (and I'm going to).

Convention overflow
I was initially bummed that I didn't book my reservations in time to get into one of the two hotels that were connected to the Convention at the Adams Mark Hotel. As it turns out, I was lucky not to. The Comfort Suites was in a good location, nearby to the other Convention hotels, and I had a very enjoyable experience there.

Short walk from hotel
The Marcella drag club was less than a block away, and was so much fun! (If you're into that sort of thing.) Great people, good music, good drinks, and a fun show. However, if you want other bar/club scenes, just walk down Chippewa 2 blocks and the party is bumping.

Nice hotel, nice location
The room was fantastic. All rooms have microwaves and fridges, and mine had really nice linens and a great bed. Two, that's right, two awesome flatscreen TVs, one in the sitting room and one by the bed. It's on Main Street, a short walk from the convention center and the conference centers at another nearby big chain hotel. Price was okay for downtown and it's right on the free trainline to the lake. Desk staff so-so, friendly but a bit slow and unprofessional (cellphone texting, etc). Cleaning staff fantastic.

Good Hotel, Great Location
First, it was a suite. Second, it included deluxe breakfast. Third, it was on Main Street and 10 mins walking to Buffalo Conversation Center. Fourth, there was a T.J.Friday downstairs, Fifth, free wi-fi and last, it was just half the price of Hayatt Buffalo, which was 3 mins to Buffalo Conversation Center, but was a tiny room, single breakfast even for a standard with two beds, and must pay the Wi-Fi.

Comfort Suites - Downtown Buffalo
Went to visit some friends near south campus. The downtown buffalo area is known for its clubbing night life but there just aren't enough food areas open after midnight. The trip is overall good and smooth, house keeping wasn't too early which did not interrupt my sleep.

Jim's Steak Hoagie and Papaya - asian fusion food. Those two places are a must visit in the downtown Buffalo area.

Comfort Suites Downtown Buffalo
Service was mediocre. Room was mediocre. There were nice flat screen TVs in the rooms. Although the room was a suite, it was very small. It is supposed to be a non-smoking facility, but our sheets had a burn hole in them and the hotel smelled of smoke. Small front desk. Dreary. Felt kind of eerie. If you're looking for a luxurious retreat, don't choose this hotel. If you're not going to spend much time in your room, then this may work for you. Good location. Comfortable bed. Not very sound proof. Could hear doors slamming and toilets flushing in other rooms.

Disappointed
My husband was on leave from Afghanistan and we went to Buffalo to see family. Our hotel room was cleaned once. We had no clean towels. The water pressure was low and had no hot water. We also had a toliet that ran all night. Also, our floor was filled with under age kids running around all night. I was very disappointed.

OK Stay
The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was a disaster. The food was cold, the waffle iron was dirty and the juice was sour.

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
Don't bother. 6 or 7 stores in the shopping mall were open along with the food court. 75% of the stores were unoccupied.
