Excellent Location for Cooperstown Visits
The motel is located just out side Cooperstown (9 miles). It provides and excellen view of the lake is close to getting on the local trolly that takes you to town (parking in town is tight). The rate is a bargain compared to other places. Those going to the Cooperstown Dream Park are about 12 miles ofrom it.

Great Place to stay in Cooperstown
We were only there one night but found the motel to be convenient to Cooperstown. Our room was very large, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Can't expect much else for the price we paid!

Great Hotel & View
This was our second time at this hotel. The first time we visited this hotel it was great, so when we were booking our second trip to Cooperstown, we didn't even look at any other hotel. We knew this was it. The view of the lake is wonderful and the hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. The only downside is that it is a little drive to town, but it is a scenic drive so it was okay!

Friendly, clean Cooperstown NY motel
Lake View Motel is a friendly, comfortable, and clean motel about 15 minutes north of downtown Cooperstown. It offers a great view of Otsego Lake, with a swimming and paddle boats. It is an affordable alternative to more pricey locations nearer to Cooperstown.

Pleasantly suprised
Clean ,comfortable room. Friendly staff. The motel occupancy was low ( Thursday night) and I think we were upgraded to a very nice room with a deck over looking the lake. I meant to ask on check out and thank them if this was so. In any case, it was nicer than we expected at the initial booking. Very pleased.

Enjoyable stay
It was a nicely kept motel, very clean, no bug issues. We stayed in two different rooms due to the addition of one night, both rooms had a beautiful lake view, well maintained grounds with picnic tables, use of micro and fridge. The staff was friendly and accommodating. No pool, but access to swimming in the lake and use of paddle boats, nice for kids. Short drive to town. New bedspreads would be a great uplift to the room's decor. Beds not too comfortable for us with bad backs, ok for 2 nights.

In Hotel
Use of lake and paddleboats (only 2 available) were great in place of not having a pool. We used them in the late morning so not to compete with other guests in the afternoon.
