Hotel is nice and rooms are big. However the price is sometimes to high for a single night in a hotel room. My room had no kitchen. They also have no discounted parking and they charge $15.00 daily for internet.

This was our second time and it was better than i had remembered. Perfect location, right across from Madison Square Garden. Great hotel bar with great bartenders. Comfortable beds and pillows. Will definetly stay again next year!!

Our stay was wonderful at Staybridge. Close to Times Square, subways and excellent restaurants. The hotel's breakfast was wonderful. Once you have their morning breakfast, you are ready for anything. Our room was very clean, quiet and cozy. All of our needs were met. We loved it and would go back again. Thank you Cheap Tickets for picking a great hotel for us.

We stay In NYC all the time this hotel has great staff of people with excellent service. Albeit rooms are a bit small they are well appointed and the kitchenette made it very handy. Location close to my office and and theater district & resturants is very good however, area right around hotel is a bit on the rough side for single women (not the case for us). Would stay here again in a heartbeat....price was very copettitive for NYC and breakfast was a nice bonus

Well, you can't get a better location than this one! Right across the street from Central Park. The staff was very friendly and were very helpful throughout our 2 day stay. As for the room itself, it was very nice, however the decor is ever so slightly dated. The bathroom could use an upgrade, however everything works fine and the bath products are super! I would have given 4 or 5 stars for cleanliness, however the maid missed a piece of bread near the window left by the previous guests, so I can only give it a 3. Overall, a great experience! Not totally unreasonable price considering the location.

It definitely lived up to its reputation...food and wine as good as you'll find anywhere in NYC...and a lovely room. The reason we stayed there was the very low nonrefundable rate probably due to the Park Ave facade being renovated....causing absolutely no inconvenience to us...and less than lower quality hotels at the time.

Excellent checking in and Concierge staff. Very helpful. Room clean and quiet with good views. The bed was excellent. Only minor matter the desk lamp did not work. I called housekeeping about the problem. They took the lamp out buit it was never replaced. I did not call back but the desk area dark. spent a week there last march with the girlfriend, location was great still very central but not in the middle of it either. Didnt eat in due to the different places in the area. Well worth a go, the bed has to be the most comfortable in the world.

Everything was very good - including a warm and very friendly, with excellent cocktalis, bar. The only exemption was the very cold bathroom, almost feezing, at least in room 2619. I hope they do something about it!

Good sized room, clean, close to everything Manhattan has to offer. Busy place--staff was hands off, which was ok. Wi-fi was extra which I would not equate with a 4-star hotel--though I did get a screaming deal on the room, so an extra $14 for internet access was certainly not the end of the world.

great location. Our room was clean and the service was good. There was no kettle, so we had to boil the water to make a cup of tea in the coffee peculator. De cafe coffee was not routinely provided, but these were minor issues. Comfortable base to explore New York

The hotel was in a great location to walk to Times Square, the Broadway theaters and Rockefeller Plaza. The continental breakfast was great in its quality and variety of options. Great value for such a good Midtown location. The bathroom was really small, but that's to be expected for most NYC hotels. I'd definitely stay here again if I came back to see more Broadway shows.

7 nuits en famille, à 4 dans une chambre avec 2 grand lits douillets, une vue sympa, pour un séjour fort agréable au coeur de New York à 2 pas des meilleurs coins, y compris un resto indien magnifique et excellent, le Junoon ...

Sans la promo, il aurait sans doute été un peu cher pour nous mais là aucun regret, le repos après de longues journées de marches et de découverte était vraiment complet.

The hotel itself is pretty good, solid set up and nice views even from the lower floors. The location is a bit off, in the no-man's land of manhattan (i.e., that part of midtown with the train station and nothing else). That said, it's also a little cheaper than similar quality hotels.

Check in was fast and easy. The staff was great. The location was convenient. I wanted Times Square. The hotel is one block off of broadway and Time Square. This was a perfect scenario because you weren't "right in the thick" of it but close enough to everything. The room was large (2 double beds) and the bathrooms clean and well stocked. The parking garage is very convenient to the Novotel and was nice and clean. The service by both the hotel and garage staff was superb!

Great staff. Great bed and bathroom. Rooms do not really have windows and breakfast is more than light. But wireless is free, rooms were very affordable and hotel is quite central, so could not complain.

Nice, clean, affordable

We were interested in a clean, nice, affordable hotel close to the East 20s, just for the night. The price was right, the room clean and comfortable, and the staff pleasant. We had three misgivings. Only one elevator worked, it was small, and it moved very slowly. Second, we asked for a taxi to the airport, and the man behind the desk said sure, he could arrange that, only to provide us with the details for not a taxi, but a towncar. I only found that out when he told me the price ($65, instead of $50 for a taxi), and that it would be a black car. I had asked for a taxi. Third, the small space behind the front desk caused us some concern: a power strip full of plugs ran across the middle of the floor because the cord was far too short. This created a clear tripping hazard, which the very young-seeming staff may not have been alert to.

The MAve was a great boutique style hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I have read some reviews that the staff was rude. My experience was just the opposite. I asked for a bucket of ice every evening, and I never waited for it to be delivered, and the staff was happy to deliver it. We were always greeted at the door, even at 2AM. The hotel is small, so are the rooms, but they were spotless. NO BED BUGS, NONE. The more expensive uptown hotels or hotel chains cannot say that. The location was great for a real New York experience, just blocks away from Flat Iron and countless great restaurants and bars. If you are a tourist, and you have to spend your trip in Time Square, stay somewhere else, please. If you want to visit New York, stay at the MAve, and stay away from the tourists on line for the Empire State Building. If you stay at the MAve, and you are compelled to take on a tourist trip, you are a short walk to Bobby Flay's restaurant, Mesa Grill. On the way there, you will pass many bars and taverns, where you can dine like a king for half the price. If you complain about the noise in NYC, maybe you should travel somewhere else. The largest U.S. city is going to be loud.

Was intrigued by hotel when riding by in a cab while staying at other property. Changed locations to try Yotel out for one night. Wish I had stayed the entire time. Liked the rooms - small but have everything you need, and well laid out. Fun bar that was good for a casual, informal business meeting. I will definitely stay here again.

A native to NY, its always great to come back home and spend a night in the city with my husband. From the moment we arrived to the hotel to the time we left the staff was wonderful and so helpful.
This was a fun hotel with a retro feel. Very clean and in a perfect location. Truthfully, the room was cabin-like. Standard cabin room on a cruise, but it was comfortable and had a great view. Every floor has a nice kitchen with free coffee or hot chocolate with a fridge, microwave and ice machine.
It was perfect for us, like a cruise we really just need the room to rest a little while we get up and go site see, eat and enjoy the city.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was good, but the carpet and curtains were pretty "tired". We were on the 12th floor and had lots of street noise (sirens, horns, trucks) but I guess that's just NYC.

Took a while for the concierge to get to me since there was only one at the time and he was handling somebody else. Room was small but we only stayed one night and it was just me and my significant other. Cleanliness was excellent and the location...couldn't get any better. TV could use a little updating if you just wanna relax because it's not flat screen and that TV was going. Definitively would like to return!

The Hudson has an excellent location a block from Columbus Circle and Central Park. Rooms tend to be on the small side but reasonably well maintained. Overall a good experience and excellent value.

I enjoyed the most comfortable bed! I have found in a hotel in recent years. Nice warm quilt, clean comfortable bathroom. Cute,quirky room much more like a European pension than a cookie cutter stuffy American hotel. Nice breakfast too. May not be everybody's style, but I loved it and would stay there again.

My daughter chose this hotel for its neighborhood, and for its distinctive, intimate nature and we were pleased. It was a pleasant walk to the Opera and to Central park, had many small, interesting restaurants nearby, a garage very close (with discount for the hotel), and always someone gracious on duty at the front desk. With just two dozen rooms it was quiet and homey. The room was small and our view just a peek toward the street and skyline, but it met our needs. The bathroom was very nice, all in perfect condition and clean. There was a little Italian Restaurant in the basement level, which we enjoyed. Cost seemed a bit high there, but the hotel gives a 15 percent discount at that location. The only negative during our two night stay was that the room was very hot and we could not find a way to adjust the heat. (finally cracked the window for relief). BUT when I mentioned this on departure I was told there was a way we could have turned off the heat. The management has plans to provide an information book in each room in the near future, which will include info about adjusting the heat and other helpful info. We enjoyed an inexpensive, enjoyable meal another night at a nearby Cuban restaurant, and loved a small bookstore on a nearby parallel street. We recommend this as a nice neighborhood and good value.

Hotel was very clean and modern. Staff was very kind and helpful, letting us drop off our bags before check in and holding onto them after checkout until we were catching a bus. The room was clean, comfy modern. We had a queen size room which was perfect for one night stay. Location is excellent too- extremely close to times square and broadway. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

The rooms are comfortable. Aptly named Dream because at night the room is imbued with with a blue glow, beds are comfortable and reading lights are well designed. The room reminds one of a European Hotel, not huge but comfortable. It is well located, within walking distance of all Broadway theaters, shopping and a slew of restaurants. Only complaint, internet access costs you -- which many moderate price hotels are now offering for free.

We enjoyed our New Year's break in NYC, eventhough there wasn't any snow!!
The hotel was centrally located & an easy walk to all of the main attractions (or even shorter walk to the subway station if a walk wasn't wanted!!).
The hotel was great & the staff were better, always available to help, although there were never any issues that needed there assistance.
Breakfasts in the morning always had a queue, which shows how popular it was.

Location was excellent! We could walk to most of the things we wanted to see. I had asked for a quiet room with two double beds and that's what we got..........plus a nice NY view from the windows. Beds were very comfortable. Both room and bathroom were nice sized. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will go there again when in NY.

It was a very nice hotel. Location is pretty good. You can walk to empire state building and time square. Staff was very nice. We reached 4 hrs early then the check in time, still they gave us a room. Room was pretty nice with an amazing view as I requested. When I entered the room, bed was not ready, hotel staff took care of it immediately. Only thing that I didn't like was that internet was not free.

This Hotel is modern, great location and a reasonable price.
Great facilities including free internet and computer suite, lounge area, water machines and laundry area.
Excellent locations, next to the Rockefeller Centre and Fifth Avenue.
Most tourist attractions are within walking distance if not a short subway station away.
The staff are friendly and always helpful with useful advice and recommendations.
I would recommend paying a room upgrade with a balcony with views of the Rockefeller Centre.
