Best Western Hospitality House New York

My rating is based upon being upgraded to a two bedroom suite, so take it with a grain of salt. It is a good hotel, with clean rooms and a decent location. The free breakfast was not great so don't depend on it. I only had one problem; the windows were old so the street noise was hiin the bedroom.

I was an early arrival and they accommodated my time very well. For them to do that they upgraded my room, which I did not need or use but was well appreciated. Nice clean room, very spacious and comfortable beds.

I expected, like most, a clean small room in a good location. Well, two out of three isn't bad. The room was massive. It was just me on a business trip but it had a full kitchen (with full appliances), dinner table for six, decent living room, big master and a big bathroom. Next time I'm with my wife I'll be back.

We arrived late and had 2 rooms booked. They placed us on the same floor and even upgraded one of the rooms to a 2 BR to keep us close. Staff was great! Room was very clean and large - perfect for families. Nice toiletries from Bath and body works and included nice extras too. Free water and snack items in the rooms were a nice touch. Beds were comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast perfect to get you out the door quickly. No views from the room and lobby was tiny but not really important. Definitely would stay again!

We visited New York and saw allot of history. It was very exciting our hotel room was blocks from Time Square and very easy to get around. The room was very huge and meet all our needs. Rooms are very large as this is a converted apt. bldg. and extremely clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Location is very good - right behind Waldorf. Stay here and use your $$$ on restaurants and shows.

We were very happy with the accomadations & the location; the pictures of this hotel(Best Western Plus Hospitality House) looked nice on their web site, but then again don't they all? For once I can say it was exactly what the pictures showed; the two bedroom suite was the perfect setting for the 4 of us women. A person doesn't expect two bedrooms in a single hotel room for less then an astronomical price , but add to that a living room/dining room combination & a full kitchen & it's just like your home away from home.We especially appreciated the continental breakfast each morning, saved time & money looking for it elsewhere. [...] at the desk during the day hours was especially helpful on both the day we checked in and the day we were to leave;when our shuttle back to the airport was more then an hour late,I think he was more upset about it then we were. & [...] at the desk later in the day & early evening was the perfect gentleman;not only made our dinner reservations for us, but then escorted us down (2 doors) to the restaurant to San Marten's where the food was EXCELLENT.This was only my 2nd trip to NYC, but when I go again, there's no question where I'll stay. Went to NYC to take care of some paperwork. The Best Western Hospitality House looked like a good place to stay since they offered suites with a full kitchen. When we got there, the gentleman at the door was very friendly and got us checked in less than five minutes. We got to the room and it was very, very spacious with a full living room and kitchen, as advertised. The kitchen is fully stocked, meaning it has plates, silverware, pots, etc. This is important when traveling with infants and young children. You can prepare baby food and other special food needs in the room. The bathroom was clean and stocked with extra towels and toiletries. The location is also very convenient, only a couple of blocks to the subway and in walking distance to many attractions. The negatives, if you call them that, included no porter, cramped elevator, and small breakfast area. Overall, the place is great for families and the staff was friendly.

At first we thought the hotel was out of the way and not very big, but after the first couple of hours we were proven very wrong. The rooms were a good size, clean and extremely comfortable. The staff were excellent and helpful. Thank you.

This is the best hotel to stay at whilst in New York, fantastic location, great accomodation & wonderful staff. Will keep coming back.
