Days Inn Hotel New York City-Broadway

This hotel is fine for location - really close to the 2/3 96th street station. Rooms are tiny and not very quiet. It' also a mixed-use building with apartments in it and mixed in on the floors. Old televisions and no cable. Wifi is really weak. Water doesn't get beyond luke warm and shower fills up immediately with water. So again, if you need a place to crash and you plan on spending minimal time in the hotel, it's fine for those purposes. They were nice about holding my bag during the day.

excellent location lots of restaurants nearby. Subway station is right outside. Great internet access. The only problem I had was the room was pretty cold. It may be OK for most people, but for those who need a very warm place (those who are easy to catch a cold), the room is cold in winter.

This hotel is exactly what I was looking for, just needed a bed to sleep on in Manhattan for the night. There is nothing impressive about it but I would stay there again under the same circumstances

Great value deal excellent location clean & comfortable

Excellent. The staff was very helpful and professional and the price was right. It's tough to find a hotel in this area for under $100 a night. I recommend it and would stay there again. It's also right next to the 1,2,3, trains so it was easy to get around

Okay, so let's face it, are you coming to the city to just stay in the room or to roam, and shop and do all the touristy stuff, and only to come back to your room to recharge and sleep? If so, this is the perfect place to be. It's really quiet at night, far away from the ambulance sound, roaring city night, but still within close proximity to all the excitement the NYC has to offer. It's near the subway station, just less than a minute walk, and take express Broadway Subway #2, you're in Times Square within 3 stops, or less than 7 minutes. Lots of places to eat nearby, and take a cab or walk within few blocks to Amsterdam Avenue for typical New York bars... For only $77++ per night, I found my perfect hotel, it's clean, the room is newly refurbish, it has iPad,iPhone dock, free Wifi- a litte slow, but works :) and oh yes...Kashi protein bars.... How can I not love this place for less than $100? It's Perfect!

This hotel is good for 1 night, rooms need some cleaner.

Good place to stay for one night, close to the subway station, active street with everything close.

I just didn't feel comfortable in this place. The bed skirting and comforter needed to be replaced; they were both old and tired. The elevators need to be repaired. Only two out of 4 were working and the two that were working are small and slow so people were waiting 20+ minutes for elevators. I was also turned off by the sign on the luggage storage room door that said something to the effect that if the hotel loses your luggage it is your responsibility. What's the point offering complimentary storage if you want to be able to loose luggage? The location also turned out to be more of an inconvenience than I thought it would be. Uws/Harlem is far away from all the places I want to go to in New York so I was paying 20-25 in cab fare (one way) to get to lower manhattan. I would have been better off reserving a better hotel in lower manhattan and using the subway to get around.

Over all good. The staff is ... Well half the staff is great, some of the best you can hope or expect to find at any level hotel, however comma , the othe 50% really are mediocre to terrible and like painfully so.. But the good half made it more than worth the stay .. Especially because was a last minute booking and I ended up extend the full work week .. The rooms are hit or miss and need something but I know some have been updated tho not all. And I must say the option of smoking rooms in this city are fewer and fewer each day and as a smoker I was more than pleased to have one :)
