It was too busy but I guess it was the time of the year when everyone wants to be in New York City....

Hilton-- gateway location for lots to do
The Hilton is centrally located, clean and of very good quality. It was very busy with kids from several basketball teams when we were there, but, while active, it was not disruptive of extremely loud. Room was clean and large enough for 3 of us. Perfect location for the theatre and lots of the dining areas

Great hotel
Convenient place to stay while in NYC. We've stayed here for years. A bit expensive but central to all the places we want to go and the best part is that they allow dogs.

Great Location and Hotel!
I would highly recommend this hotel, the location is great - I typically stay right in Times Square, however it is extremely crowded and loud. The Hilton was only a short walk and was very quiet and convenient to shopping on 5th Avenue and Central Park. The rooms were an average size, however roomy for a NYC hotel. The staff was great and the rooms were spotless.

Good location
I stay at this hotel for a conference each year and like the convenient location. I miss having a coffee maker in the room and don't like paying extra for the internet. The time on my clock was wrong and I spent a very long time trying to fix it to no avail. Otherwise, it was fine.

Great hotel stay
It was too busy but I guess it was the time of the year when everyone wants to be in New York City. The hotel staff were very helpful, the room was too small for a queen type room. Good location for shopping as shops are a walkable distance. Pretty close to Times Square with the popular ball drop on New Year's Eve.

Mother/Daughter shopping spree!
We loved the view from our room and the proximity of this hotel. They were very friendly, but the prices at the hotel restaurant were a bit pricey, but that is not unusual for Manhattan. We were close to Times Square and all of the best shopping.

Was hoping for more.
The location was great. Other than that it was not what I was expecting. There was no coffee in the room. What hotel doesn't offer coffee in the room? Also there was mold on the shower curtain. I will never stay at this place again.

Too Expensive; Pay extra for a frig??!!!
Everything had an "extra" cost....even if you needed a refrigerator for storing necessary medication. I have never stayed at a hotel which a refrigerated was not included in the ammenities......No thank you. :0)

birthday treat
the hotel info stated minibar and tea/coffee making, neither were available. most of the hotel staff were very abrupt and could be quite rude at times, but the cleaning staff were excellent. I would not stay at a Hilton again
