Large Rooms, Classic Omni
I was there for a set of work meetings, and really enjoyed the stay at the Omni. The staff was always helpful and courteous, and I had the chance to check-in much earlier. The elevators can get a bit noisy, so if you're sensitive to the sound, I'd recommend staying away from them. The hotel is really centrally located, on 52nd and Madison -- the location's just perfectly accessible while being quieter than many others. The rooms are larger than at other NYC hotels.

Omni Berkshire New York
The hotel is conveniently located at 52nd and Madison and has been renovated. It is not a luxury 5-star hotel, but is certainly an appealing hotel. Of note, parking at the hotel is $45 per night. The breakfast buffet is $32 and orange juice is $7 per glass, so be prepared to pay upscale Manhattan prices even if you get a good deal on the hotel otherwise. The room is modest but well-maintained.

Quiet elegance in a perfect location
The staff was pleaseant and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities you would expect at a hotel of this caliber. Most of all the hotel had an air of elegance without being formal.

Valentine's Weekend
The Omni Berkshire is generally a five star hotel. Good service, friendly staff and great rooms. The only problem was that we asked for a noon check in and the room was not ready.

Perfect location...value for your money
A quick trip to NYC. This hotel is a perfect location to experience "what is happening" in NYC. A homey smaller hotel but with big city flair. Great staff! Small but tasteful rooms and a nice dining room if you want to stay in...reaonably priced prix-fixe 3 course dinner in the quiet winter months. Would definitely return

Nice December getaway
This is the second trip I have taken to New York City this year and I stayed at this hotel both times.The best thing about the hotel is the location.Front staff and house keeping are friendly.I will definitely stay there on my next trip.

Great place to stay
This is a great location. As it turns out it was Fashion Week, so we went up to Lincoln Center which is not that far away. Fashion Night was exciting and we were close to Saks which had a lot going on. There is a subway close by and it's easy to get a taxi either from the hotel, or from Fifth or Madison. Times Square is nearby, as is Rockefeller Center and Central Park.

There is a lot of great shopping along Fifth Ave. and you are right there. Madison Ave. is also great for shopping. You can take the subway at 53rd and Fifth Ave. to Soho, which also has great shopping.

Omni Berkshire
The Omni is centrally located and has easy access to all NYC goodies. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel gave a free suite upgrade for my mother for her 90th birthday party. Staff is courteous but not effusively friendly. Apples are good. Breakfast buffet is overpriced and has few choice items. Claim to be bedbug-free.
