weekend getaway
Great place in the middle of everything. Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and professional. Very fun bartender. Good price for last minute booking! Great food and drink all around and very close to Rockafeller center and MOMA as well as close to tons of shows. Very fast check in and the doorman was quick with a taxi for the ride to the airport. Easy directions online and staff was very helpful with events, restaraunts, bars, transportation, show times, exhibits, and any special needs. Had to get out of town quickly with the hurricaine approaching and the staff was very helpful with getting me to the airport on time. Definitely would reccommend to others and I will definitely stay there again.

Wonderful, perfect location
I really enjoyed my weekend at the Omni Bershire. The staff was friendly and the concierge went beyond the call of duty helping with dinner reservations and Broadway tickets. Times Square, the Theater Dostrict, shopping, and church were all within walking distance. Plus, the Omni limo drove us to the airport for less than a taxi.

Location is Everything
From the moment that I pulled my car up to the entrance my stay athe the hotel was a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very accomodating and friendly.

Very nice, warm hotel in a great location!!!!!
I loved the hotel and mostly its location! The room was spacey and I had a view of the 5th Avenue as I was promised. The bed was veeeeeery comfortable and the pillows nice and smooth. My only concern is that I am not really sure about the maintenance services. For example, the second day I found the same used glass in the bathroom and it had not been replaced by another one.. this was awkward. Other than that I definitely recommend it and I will go back!!

Don't be overwhelmed with shops on the 5th Avenue.. Justt walk along Madison... You will love it!!! But be prepared either to control yourself, or spend all your salary on shopping!! :)

Very Nice Hotel
I love to stay on the Eastside of NYC, close to shopping and restaurants, where things run at a slightly slower pace. This hotel offers all that and is just a short walk away from Times Square, Broadway and the crowds! This location is super close to a subway stop, just around the corner. I was easily able to get to a Mets game, Hearalds Square, Soho and downtown. The room was slightly smaller than I would have liked, but it is recently updated and was a haven away from the heat. The staff was very accomodating.

Best hotel in a long time
An elegant hotel. No expense spared in room furnishings, ex. Silhouette-brand window shade. Roomy closet, well-equipped bathroom, complimentary wi-fi with free Select Guest membership, free morning coffee or tea by room service, free bottled water first night, etc. Do not consume snacks or bottled water on display in the room. Grossly overpriced. A small chocolate bar cost me $12!

Hotel breakfast is expensive. Try Isadora on 52nd Street directly across from the hotel entrance. Inexpensive egg dishes, fruit, yogurt, etc. Seating upstairs.

Great Location
Great location, about 2 blocks from the nearest subway and 1/2 mile to Rockafeller center. rooms where very clean and hotel was prompt in addressing a few minor issues. Stayed a week to see the site of New York and because of the location I was able to go any where by walking or taking the subway. Also, if you are watching your expenses there are several cafes near by for breakfast and mini marketes for sandwiches or a corner cart for a bagel or hot dog. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker to get the day going. Hotel was quiet for NY standards.

If you want an after dinner drink or just a place to get a drink or Fig & Olive across the street was reasonable in their wine prices and had good poors, though most of the wines are french or european. Also, 2 block north was a good bar to get a drink and catch a sporting event.

Great place to stay
The Omni Berkshire is one of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed at in New York city. The accomodations were comfortable, clean, and spacious. The staff was wonderful and the location is so convenient to the everything in Midtown.
