Pleased from Ohio
A great experience
This is the first time we have stayed at the Helmsley Park Lane. We have been guests at several NY hotels over the years. This may have been our best overall experience. Everything about our stay was excellent; the location, the room size, the staff, the bed, the maid service, the room temperature, the water pressure and instant hot water, everything . . . We also appreicated the friendly and constant lobby presence of the staff. We also arrived early around 10am and they had a room ready. I have never had this happen in 15 years of travel to NYC. Awesome.

When we checked in they were corteous and organized. Seeing they had the opportunity to do so they gave us a huge upgrade! Great location to everything NY has to offer!

Mid Town Luxury
Top notch hotel,elegant and quiet, overlooking Central Park with park or city views. Convenient midtown location. Unbelievably comfortable bed was much appreciated after working and running around the city all day. Very clean rooms with all amenities provided. Breakfast lovely, but pricey. Definitely a winner.

Helmsley Hotel, NYC
This is a first class hotel with the best view in the city. I highly recommend this hotel and will be returning soon. It will be the only hotel that I will use when I am visiting NYC... The adage location, location, location is everything could not be more appropiate than with this hotel. I recommend paying a few dollars more and get the Central Park view and rooms on the upper floors. You will be very impressed.

Great people, location and feel!
The view from our room of Central Park was awesome! We slept with the blinds open so that we could enjoy the city and it's grandeur even in the middle of the night! The location is perfect! I would recommend the Helmsley PL to anyone that likes a great deal, quiet and large rooms and great service.

There is a restaurant in the Village West that is incredible! The name is Yerba Buena on Perry Street. It's brand new, so make your reservations early. The subway ride from the hotel and short walk to the restaurant is only about 20 minutes!

Great Location and Atmosphere
Great location across from Central Park. Perfect for walking just about anywhere. Very quiet. Rooms were very nice. Had to order ice from roomservice (no charge for it other than a tip). Would stay there again. Only $35 cab ride from Laguardia.

Magnificent Impeccable Service
Our room had an incredible view of New York and Central Park. We loved the location. The staff was top notch. [...] the concierge was superb. We had the pumkin soup and it was outstanding. We went back just to have the pumpkin soup. Breakfast was outstanding. We would highly recommend staying at the Helmsley Park Lane and we will return. We actually enjoyed the Park Lane better than the Plaza. The experience was much more personal.
