Great oasis in the city

Very comfortable beds, room clean and neat, bathroom had mildew in the shower just a little. The staff was great and amenities were well kept. The TV/Cable went in and out but then was fixed. They said I used the mini bar and I don't drink??? They did't charge me! I think this hotel is a little overpriced at the regular rates but all of NYC is that way. I would try to stay there again in a room far away from the club like I had. The price was so good. I would stay again if I could get that good a deal again!

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

If it is cold or bad weather you can walk through Port authority bldg. on 9th ave to get to the subway. Also a food Emporium is across the street. I ate Breakfast at the Ktchn and it was good & reasonable .

Modern and sheek

Really enjoyed my stay at The Out. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The lack of a shower curtain and floor mat meant it was impossible not to flood the bathroom but everything else was so great that didn't bother me much. I would stay there again.

Great overnight NYC stay

For the price, you can't beat this hotel. It is extremely clean, staff is really helpful, it is very close to Times Square and a short cab ride to the village. The onsite restaurant is really good too for a quick meal. Free WiFi also a plus. Plenty of parking garages nearby if you plan to drive in. Also for LGBT travelers, it's a nice bonus that this place is a "straight friendly" hotel with an amazing gay club in the building.

Perfect Retreat

I'm one of those individuals that has to read reviews before I make any decisions and when I read the reviews on "The Out NYC Hotel' I was impressed by all the good feed back, that I had to see what all the fuss was about. What I like about the hotel is how modern it is.. the location.. the club that's literally right next to the hotel.. and the fact that it caters to the gay community; the staff for the most part are great & friendly. The only bad thing I would say about this hotel is I believe they allow their guest to walk the hall ways nude.. which I don't believe that should be permitted because it's not that kind of place.. let's keep it classy my fellow humans.. and the hotel lost internet connection on my final day. The only suggestion I would give to the hotel is to have some sort of directory of how to get around the city with all the different attractions. Well my friends I would def say book this hotel.. you will appreciate all the hard work and detailed the owner put into this hotel.. and the location is magnificent. I'll see ya there.

It's awsome!

It's new, clean, and comfortable. But,the stuff there seems won't even say hi the second you have checked out. And the way they look at you outside the hotel is like you are just some kind of stranger they have never met before.

Great service. Great room. Great location.

My girlfriend and I stayed here as a straight couple and had a fantastic time. The hotel is clean, stylish, roomy, and sexy. The staff was great, courteous, polite, outgoing, and anxious to help. They even got us a "quiet room" when I mentioned how picky I am about night noise. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on ANYWHERE. There's a bar and restaurant in the hotel, and a bagel and coffee place right across the street. The subway is just a few blocks up the street and there's plenty to do and see within walking distance. GREAT CHOICE. I'd definitely go again.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Right across the street is a great - (and relatively inexpensive) - cafe where you can get a DELICIOUS bagel, coffee, and even an omelet. Perfect place for breakfast when you're traveling on a budget. I was pleasantly surprised and how tasty the coffee was and how chewy and delicious the bagels were.
