52 in-room Jacuzzi rooms. Heated indoor pool. Close to I-77 Interstate. Heated indoor pool. Close to I-77 Interstate. The hotel has wireless, meeting rooms facility and fitness room. The hotel is close to Akron, Copley, Medina and Wadsworth Corporate sector and within walking distance to major chain restaurants. The hotel offers freshly baked cookies Sunday thru Thursday afternoon. Must have 1 adult 21 years or older in each room. Pool closed for maintenace February 27-28, 2011.

gracious hospitality

Staff went out of the way to provide me with some much needed help upon arrival. The front desk person,Stormie, made phone calls and really did everything she could to make my stay the best. This hotel is a keeper and comes highly recommended.

Great location for the price

Stayed one night to utilize the indoor pool for my 4yr old! It was quiet, clean, nice. Will definatly go back.

Not so great

When I first arrived I was like wow...what a great location! Theres about every store you can imagine and every restaurant in the area. Theres even a shopping mall. The appearance of the hotel is nice as well. The first room they put is in was a smoking room, although I requested NON SMOKING. The room stunk, there was ashes and hair on the bed. Very disgusting!!! After I complained they switched our room. The beds arent very comfortable and neither are the pillows. Bed was very bouncy like and the pillows were hard. The bathroom looked like it needed to be redone. The tv had very few channels and the reception wasn't all that great. We had a hard time sleeping because it sounded like a bunch of elephants were running around in the room above us.Upon leaving, the hotel charged me AGAIN after I had already paid [...]. They had a hard time refunding the money that shouldn't have been taken out of my account in the first place. Customer service was nice and so was breakfast in the morning. The only negative thing id say were the rooms...They were ugly and uncomfortable.

Comfort Inn West Akron

We were visiting family and not spending too much time in the room. Clean...but dated and the AC units are very noisy. Fine for vacation but it would be difficult to do a lot of business at this hotel. On restaurant/hotel row so easy access to movies, food, shopping.

My review of Comfort Inn West

The bathrooms in the lobby were not clean and water had overflowed in one of the toilets. One of the staff members was playing on the computer in the lobby and acted rudely when I asked to use it.

staff very friendly

The front desk staff both in the am and pm were very friendly and quite helpful. The only downfall was the 2:00am barge in by security when the fire alarm was ringing. I assume this was security,they barged in our room and were wearing a security tshirt??? Wish they were a little better identified, maybe a picture badge? Great location to everything, short drive to Canton/Akron airport. Overall nice experience

Nice stay

The comfort Inn west was a very pleasant stay. Everything was wonderful, with one exception...the shower. We had problems with the water going cold during the shower. Besides that it was excellent.
