Cheap - Stay away
The hotel rates are cheap. But you get what you pay for. The rooms have an odd smell. The beds and linens are average. Good enough for a one or two night stay. But do not expect much. The area around is very good. Lots of restaurants and shopping places around. When I entered the hotel lobby, no one was there (it is in the evening at 4 PM). Had to call from the telephone and waited for 15 mins. The room was dripping water from the roof and had to move to a different room. Stay away from this hotel if possible! The only plus point seems to be free internet.

Econolodge - not Super 8
Spent two nights at the Econolodge in Akron-Copley because I was attending a memorial service. Dank, dark, dirty. TV remote that only partially worked. Sagging mattress. Holes in the bedding. The "first floor" is actually down six or seven steps making it difficult for an older woman to navigate with luggage. I have nothing good to say about it except it kept the rain off me.

Short drive from hotel
Short drive or even, in some cases, short walk. Every conceivable franchise restaurant is within a very short distance.

The Good, the bad and the ugly
The staff was very, very helpful and just as nice as good be and always helpful. The down side is the Econ Lodge is going down and fast. Dirty, most of stuff didn't work, ie; coffee pot (had it exchanged) the clock radio stayed on 24/7, you had to turn the vol down or up plug it. Out dated and well wore lenden's and covers (Burn holes).

Akron Tournament
It was a decent hotel, but the staff was really great and the location had a lot to do around it, from shopping, to a movie theater, to enough food places to keep you busy for a few days. The Hotel was actually The Econo Lodge, not The Super 8.

Awful Hotel
I walked in to check in and there was no one at the front desk.. just a sign that said dial 402 for help.. I dialed and the woman did not come to assist me for at least 10 minutes. We got to the room and the first thing we noticed was the coffee pot still had coffee in it.. with mold growing on top. The beds were dirty, the showers grimy, the room smelled. Just an overall awful trip. The "continental breakfast" was warm milk, apple juice, orange juice, plain bagels, muffins and rice krispies. The only redeeming quality was the price and the proximity to Blossom.

Happy to be home
You get what you pay for...
It was a good reminder of what you get what you pay for... It wasn't dirty or foul, but very small, very old, and the matress was the cheapest I've ever had in any hotel ever. I stayed for 4 nights and think it may be another 4 before the spring marks fade from my body. Also, the free breakfast was again a lesson in you get what you pay for and there was no table or place to sit and eat it.
