The front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating and rounded out a pleasant stay. They offered free downtown shuttle service which we used once. We were in a roomy 2-bedroom suite.
It is a convenient, affordable location, near several bus lines, eateries, and downtown. There is also a small in-house cafe. We would stay there again.

Very nice staff were polite and helpful, it was a nice visit. Only one problem we had I call front desk to make sure a taxi was on hand at a certain time so we can make our concert. When we arrived at the main entrance our cab was not present so we arrived at our concert late, I should have gotten the the associate name but I was't worried about it since we are on vacation but i wish I did but otherwise than that and our room phone didn't work, but I wasn't aware of the phone option.... I enjoyed it.

The beds were very comfy, the towels were actually towels - white and fluffy! The cleaning stafff was very helpful :) Very happy and will stay there again! The only problem was that we reserved a room with a king size bed, but had to take a room with double beds :( My fiance is over 6 feet tall and 260 pounds - I reserved a king size bed for a reason. The hotel told me that it was listed as a double bed room through [...]. I had my reservation sheet for confirmation, but I still got stuck with the 2 double bed room. Never received anything for my inconvenience either.

This hotel is right off of the highway. Very nice, modern interior. The room was really nice. My two young daughters enjoyed the indoor pool, and the fitness room was big. We all enjoyed the free breakfast, too!
The location is a quick drive to nice restaurants downtown and at the Riverfront, but I wouldn't feel comfortable walking around near the hotel itself. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The biggest complaint I have is that I booked 2 rooms and was given 1 on the 4th floor and 1 on the 8th floor. The hotel manager said that he could not give us rooms beside each other or even on the same floor, even though I had book and PAID for these rooms months in advance.

I stayed for the GovEnergy conference. It was close enough to walk to the Duke Energy Center in about 15 minutes. It was fine for a cheap hotel for a single person but I would not bring a family. First room I moved out of due to a broken toilet. Not a great part of town.

Great Accomodations at a Great Value

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for when we took our daughter to school at Xavier for her freshman year. It's new, modern, clean and very comfortable. It's very close and accessible to the University and to downtown Cincy. The breakfast in the morning was quite good and offered quite a variety. The only negative is that the only ice machine is on the first floor. The staff was responsive and helpful. We look forward to staying there again.

This hotel is a fabulous example of American Art Moderne (or deco) design, and a thrill to walk through the lovingly restored public spaces.
I've stayed here several times, and the most recent found me with a shower whose water would NOT heat up unless I started running it 10 full minutes before, or more. It also took them a long time to find my luggage (sent ahead) and get them to my room. These are probably quibbles because in other stays, none of this was in evidence.

recently refurbished rooms a big plus. Orginal 1930's room sizes have been enlarged to today's standards, with new bathrooms and plumbing. Main spaces of the hotel are as elegant as ever, this hotel is as grand as it gets, from the huge dining room and dramatic staircases to the rare wood paneling and the gold tinted mirrors. any fan of 1930's design should stay here once. staff very good and attentive.

Did not have my reservation information, had to call someone. Older couple. Appeared to be overwhelmed with small amount of business. Bathroom outdated. spiderwebs and water only warm. No receipt provided. Could have gone there on my own and got a cheaper rate. Buyer beware!

Seems like this place was just built (I think someone said it was 2-3 years old). It is well maintained and in a good location if you are visiting either the medical campus or undergrad portion. The pool is a little small, but gets the job done if you just want to soak and relax (don't expect to be swimming laps). The gym is also well stocked.
The breakfast was good, but a little on the bland side (shouldn't complain about a free meal, but hopefully they improve this).
If I'm back in Cinci, I'm definitely staying here. Don't wander too far off campus, it gets scary real fast.

The St. Clair room was named after the individual who, as governor of the Northwest Territory, renamed the city of Losantisville to the city of Cincinnati. I have stayed at the Cincinnatian once a year for many years now. I am always impressed with their cleanliness, service and willingness to help with their clients needs. The cricket bar is a good hang as well.

We spent two nights at the Mariemont Inn in Cincinnati, and were very pleased with the external appearance, and everything got better from there! I don't know where to start, with the hidden TV, great shower, or the awesome carrot cake. Will definitely stay there again, even if it is out of my way.

went for our daughters graduation from nursing school,the swimming pool should have been operational but it had issues and was not functional also the other residents should have been watching their kids and not running the halls and pulling the fire alarms

We only stayed one night, but found the room very comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was a little nicer than average also. A nice little perk is the coupon for an appetizer at a nearby restaurant chain. We used it for one of our meals as their apps are really a meal :) Nice savings! I would stay here again.

this hotel was very comfortable. we stayed in a suite, and enjoyed a jacuzzi tub, as well as separate living areas, including kitchenette. my only qualm about this hotel was the lack of an included breakfast and the size of the pool. the pool was rather small for such a large hotel, it made the pool feel crowded with only 7 other people in the pool area. this experience was rather unrelaxing, but the hotel suite made up for it.

I was only there overnight. If I were a frequent business traveler, I would have thought to bring clothes for the workout room or pool, which looked very nice. Breakfast was lovely.

Disappointingly Dirty

The room was extremely dirty -- empty soda can in the corner on the floor along with other detritus. The room keys suddenly stopped working and it took three tries to get new keys that worked. One desk clerk told us the continental breakfast was complimentary, and another told us there was a charge. Overall a poor experience. We will not stay there again.
