Needs a major renovation outside. Lobby is bizarre but staff very friendly and helpful. I was afraid that the inside of my room would look like the outside, but was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and moderately comfortable. I still think this isn't a great deal for the price, but you can't beat the location if you can get past the horrible facade! Also, there is no fitness center, in spite of advertising at the front desk. Don't go to the 2nd floor if you aren't adventurous.

The place is old, has smells, and needs updating bad. I went with a friend for a baseball game and sightseeing so we just booked the cheapest/ closest to the stadium and downtown. We got what we paid for... if the opportunity arises again, I will pay the extra $20 to stay somewhere else. Staff was NOT the problem, they were very helpful and courteous. Location is great, but could get a little sketchy at night.

in town for a wedding,the hotel was an oasis during this hectic time.the reception and dinner were held at the hotel.

The hotel staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. There were a few things that went wrong, i.e. safe in room didn't work, phone in room didn't work, but they took care of both of these problems quickly. We self-parked in the hotel's underground garage and walked to everything we did. Good location to the Arcade Mall, Town Center Mall, Playhouse Square, Rock & Roll HOF, Library, and the Cleveland Federal Reserve. All were great places to walk to. Breakfast at David's Restaurant was included in our package and was an awesome buffet!

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful; from first checking in, to the maintenance staff, breakfast staff and checkout. The building, room and people were lovely.

Stayed at ritz Chicago stayed at ritz Orlando grande lakes ritz LA and this is not a ritz. It's a over priced Marriott. Stay was very very rude. When we called to get room service we overheard the order taker say come on when we asked them to hold for a second. Need to all take a class on service. Best service was the valet.

We had a very nice romantic overnight stay celebrating our tenth anniversary. The rooms were luxuriously decorated. It was worth every penny.

Location of this hotel was great. Walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants. The concierge Jamie was spot on with her restaurant recommendations. Hotel is close to the ballparks and arenas. Room I was in was pretty plain, older tube tv, not much of a view. But the bed was comfortable enough and I wasn't in Cleveland to watch tv in my room.

The Hyatt at the Arcade is perfectly located for a getaway weekend. It's a short walk to Progressive Field and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It's within a block of a variety of bars, restaurants and the House of Blues.The hotel's news stand is in the arcade, and it's operating hours are limited. My room was well-appointed and large, but the TV offerings on the hotel cable were disappointing. Only two local stations were available.

Access is so easy via the Rapid from the airport. Room Service was great - I asked for a special order and they came up with exactly what I wanted at no extra charge, in a short timeframe and it was fresh and just what I was looking for. Service was excellent all round. Charging for in-room internet was a bit cheesy for such a nice (pricy) hotel - that is my only gripe though.

We visited Cleveland to watch the Tigers beat up the Indians on Tuesday night. Checked in around 5pm with no issues. The front desk clerk was from Michigan and very polite. We had breakfast delivered to our room in the morning, it was delicious. Prices were a little above average but worth the extra coin for quality. Overall it was a great trip, beautiful old-school hotel, formerly The Cleveland Hotel. Great architecture! Close walk to ball park and some downtown bars. Wanted to goto the Rock n' Roll HOF but didn't have the time.

Great Location - for sports fans! Walking distance to Quicken Loans Arena & Progressive Field. The only issue we had ( And I read this in a review from another customer) was - we were only there about 30 min when one of the cleaning crew just stuck their key in & walked in on us!! Never knocked - just walked in!! She was very apologetic, but it is still inexcusable!! When I went to the desk clerk - he was a little defensive -trying to justify it - but a manager nearby overheard & said that she would log it in & take the "necessary steps" to insure that it wouldn't happen again!!

Excellent staff, very helpful. Location near Progressive Field. Not on vaca but enjoyed the atmosphere of the neighbourhood during the season opener. Breakfast not included but the buffet was good value and nice wait staff.

WE JUST SLEPT AT HOTEL OVERNIGHT. ROOM WAS CLEAN. GREAT STOP ON OUR WAY TO PLAY AT COOPERSTOWN DREAMSPARK AND VISIT HALL OF FAME.

We went for saint patricks day and had a great time. The staff were all very nice. The room was very roomie with a great view. The hotel is pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog which made us feel more at home.

Staff was the best very professional friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful experience in our hour of need.

The hotel is located in the midst of the numerous buildings that comprise the Cleveland Clinic, and very convenient to University Circle and Little Italy. A beautiful lobby was the introduction to a very nice room and excellent service. The front desk personnel could not have been more helpful with directions and information. The hotel restaurant served very fine fare at reasonable prices.

The room was clean and bright when we got there. Staff was awesome! The food was perfect and when there was a small issue it was solved with one call and in about 10 minutes. Will stay again!

Overall, a very pleasant stay and a very reasonable price. I don't know how old this hotel is but it looks brand new (in a good way). It is tastefully done in modern decor but not over the top. This hotel is adjacent to the Cleveland Clinic and owned by the clinic; 80% of the guests are long-term, families of patients. The rooms were sparkling clean; the suite roomy and with good light and a new microwave and very nice fridge (the best I've ever seen in a hotel). There is a very nice workout facility with new equipment, weights and some "bodyweight" equipment. The drawbacks? We stayed here because the downtown hotels were full; this is not a very "fun" location in terms of walkable attractions. There essentially is nothing nearby except the clinic. Also, on Sunday morning at about 9 am, a cleaning service person knocked loudly on the door and asked about cleaning. I said we would not be checking out until checkout time and she responded by asking when that was (it was noon). An abberation in otherwise very good service.

The room and staff in the hotel were fine but the parking attendent on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning was dreadful. Short-temperment, no "please" or "thank you's", rude 100%. Has no business being in any customer service role. I would not stay again only b/c of this man.

I had a good continental breakfast that included eggs and sausage and good coffee. There was an older air conditioner that was noisy but effective. My bedside lamps (both of them) did not work and that was annoying. The hotel was OK but not special.

The location of the guesthouse is perfect if you are going to the Cleveland Clinic. The staff is very friendly and they have shuttle service to the local shopping areas. The rooms are clean, however the beds are extremely firm. Both my mother and I had a sore back after sleeping on them. They boast of having free wireless, yet you can only access wireless in the lobby. The continental breakfast is awful. Some bland cereals, oatmeal, horrible coffee, a danish and occasionally oranges.

This hotel was very accomadating to my family while our son was at the Cleveland Clinic. The proximity to the hospital was terrific. My only complate was our bed was hard as a rock!
