Cleveland stay

I was very impressed when I entered the hotel room. Wood floors (laminate I believe) were very clean and not what I'm used to seeing when walking into a hotel room. There was a separate area when I first walked in that consisted of a mini kitchen w/ a fridge, sink, microwave and coffee pot. I was very impressed with the room overall and the bed was comfortable with both firm and soft pillows provided. The staff was very polite and welcoming as well. The location was perfect for all the downtown festivities. Walking distance to everything. I will definitely be keeping Holiday Inn Express in mind for my next Cleveland stay.

Excellent!!

I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else if I returned to Cleveland. The location is excellent for Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, Browns stadium, Indians stadium, restaurants and night life. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious! The hotel staff were very nice!

Good location

Requested and reserved a room with 2 queen beds but at check in received a king room. The room did have a sofa bed which worked ok, but would have preferred 2 queen beds. Location was great!

Over night concert

When we arrived at the hotel we found out that we had to go around the corner to park in a parking garage that we would be charged 14.00 to as much as 20.00 plus. When checking in the rooms with 2 queen beds were not ready. check in was at 4pm we were there at 4:45. we pre ordered a roll out bed and also told the man at the desk. He said one would be delivered to the room before we came back from our concert. It was not. so we called front desk and was told that they were out. and that we would have to talk to a manager in the morning when we checked out. The only thing they did for us as far as refunding us anything was to take the parking cost off our bill. The employees seemed very confused as to how to solve our problem with the bed. We feel that since we requested the bed so far in advance that we should have been better compensated for our inconvience. so I would rate this hotel staff very poor. The room it self was beautiful and very roomy and clean. We also were shocked to see that the elevators were so small it was as if we were in a broom closet and then they only had 2 of the 4 running. In closing we will never stay there again, unless things would ever change with this being a complete refund back to us.

Very happy,

Business travel. Hotel was clean, comfortable, centrally located, elevators arrived quickly, and a first for me, the floors were hardwood (old bank building), Will stay again.

Convenient to Playhouse Square

We went to Cleveland to attend a Dave Koz Christmas show at Playhouse Square and we chose Holiday Inn Express for the location and proximity to both Playhouse Square and the City Center. The lobby was a bit confusing, but the staff was kind and wonderfully helpful. We loved the little old fashioned elevators, but our room was amazing. It was huge, had a hardwood floor, large screen TV and an equally large bathroom, with a huge shower and marble sink. The nearby parking was easy to walk to and had easy access. All in all we were extremely pleased.
