Great Weekend Getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt! The location was phenomenal! We didn't drive anywhere! WE were in town for a basketball game and we were an 8 minute walk from the arena! The hotel was located in a beautiful building, surrounded by great shops and restaurants. Since it was Saturday, many were closed, but it was so peaceful! We enjoyed lunch at the Chocolate Bar - highly recommend! The room was clean and comfy and we really enjoyed our stay!

Excellent Location, Large Rooms with Comfortable beds

Bellmen helped me with express check in and to get the items to the room. Room was spacious, clean, and the beds where extremely comfortable. Location was amazing. Walked directly across the street for the House of Blues. Only a 5 Min. drive / 15 Min walk to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Science Center. Only 2 disappointments: No parking. Had to do paid parking in parking structure next door and there is no breakfast included with the room. Overall, though, it was a great experience. I found a little pastry shop only a few doors down from the House of Blues with extremely reasonable prices for breakfast, as an alternate.

Quick night stay

It was a great price at the last minute so we took it! It's really no frills no real amenities but was a comfortable night sleep. Housekeeping left their broom and cleaning spray wasn't sure if that meant they didn't finish cleaning but whatever it was good enough for one night.

Overnight getaway

The valet parking was unacceptable. It was expensive and the valet attendants were inefficient. It took 25 minutes to get our car back and there was no line--they were not busy. This left a bad impression although the desk and bell staff were courteous, pleasant and efficient. The location was excellent for what we wanted: downtown on the square-close to everything. The room was small, dimly lit and needed total updating There were holes in the floor under the carpeting. The king size bed was very comfortable with good linens. We had an excellent experience at the 1890 Restaurant where we had breakfast. Compared to other downtown hotels the price was reasonable. For this reason we would recommend the hotel to friends even though we were not pleased with the total experience.

Cleveland hotel

The staff was not at all helpful and sometimes downright rude. The room was spacious and clean. The description said it was in an arcade of shops however there were no shops. Location was very central though to downtown and sights.

Cleveland deserves its reputation!

Beautiful setting. Little local action. Very nice locales on 4th Street. Quiet city. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame smaller than expected and somewhat disjointed in flow. Great fireworks after the ball game but disappointing ending to game... rookie mistakes with ball drop, hardly major league play. Sunday morning left almost no local options for breakfast- the few places we saw or passed were closed. Not unhappy that we came, but little incentive to return. Hotel security is great, but confusing use of the cards to gain entrance and to use elevators

Incredibly beautiful, but missing some essentials

The location of this hotel is great, right on Euclid Avenue by the House of Blues and within easy walking distance of Jacobs Field, the library, R&R Hall of Fame and numerous other attractions. The inside of The Arcade is simply stunning and I have a feeling that's pretty much what we paid for, because the room itself was quite small (we almost walked directly into the TV armoire when we opened our door# and their wasn't even a mini-fridge. I'm not really the kind of girl who needs that kind of stuff if I'm paying mid-range prices, but we spent a considerable amount for a single night and I think more should come "standard" at those prices. #Just a note that has nothing to do with my rating, you can self-park your car in the lot next door - it runs from Euclid to Prospect. If you're using valet parking, you actually want the hotel entrance on Prospect, not Euclid#.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

If you're going to a concert at House of Blues, the location doesn't get any better than this. It's almost directly across the street and after-hours key access from the Euclid side bakes crawling into your bed after a nice evening out that much quicker and easier.
