The hotel is great, but because it is located in a business park there is no where you can walk to, and even if there were, there are no sidewalks, so, if you want to go for a jog you are on the treadmill or on the road

Pleasantly Surprized...
Rooms were very clean. Hotel is beautiful. Pool was nice. You could swim from the indoor pool to the outdoor pool through a passage-way.(That was pretty neat). Felt secure because the hotel was locked at back entrances. You had to use your room card key to use the elevator or pool entrance or any back doors to enter the hotel. They had a nice hot tub also. The only thing that would make it a little better is a refridgerator/microwave inside the room. Staff were great!!! Hope this helps.

Short drive from hotel
Zoo was nice. Zoombezi bay was a blast! It's also near alot of shopping and places to eat. Olentangy Caverns were great too!

Needs help
Needs a renovation and some serious sound proofing. You can hear the trucks on the interstate all night long and the walls between rooms are paper thin. And the mattress was shot.

High quality - Close to the airport
We were in town for a family reunion over the weekend. We needed a hotel close enough to the airport to make it convenient for a morning departure. Hotel was clean, fresh and updated. Hotel restauranat was only adequate. Lovely outdoor pool.

Nice Hotel
Stayed one night at the Crowne Plaza Columbus North while passing through the Buckeye State. Check in was fast and efficient. While heading to my room I noticed a lot of high-school aged kids running around. Not sure what event was at the hotel, but there were 25+ 16-18 year old kids in front of the elevator. Room was located close to the stairwell door and I could hear it slam whenever someone accessed the floor via the stairs. Nice room. Slept well, until housekeeping banged on my door at 0745. Wasn't going to be able to get back to sleep so I got up and left. Check out was uneventful. Hint always put out your do not disturb door hanger otherwise you may get an early wake up.

Very bad customer service
I booked through [...] a "Executive double bed non smoking room" and paid for that as well. When I arrived Columbus North Crown Plaza Hotel, I showed them the reservation for the "executive" room, they said "Sorry, we don't have any opening anymore". They gave me a low quality "handicapped accesible double room" after charging me the big bucks. When I asked for a refund, they said that they can't help it. [...]

Weekend getaway
Shuttle service is wonderful and drivers very nice. My first nite I didn't get a sofa bed but that was changed the next day....thank you....all your staff from lobby to housekeeping was wonderful....I have stayed 3 times at this hotel and have had a great experience.....thank you

Thanksgiving Visitor
Some things need an upgrade
We had a relaxing time at the Crowne Plaza. There weren't many people in the hotel, and we enjoyed the quiet. Our disappointment is that the building, which is still really beautiful, really needs upgrading. We had leaking faucets in the bath, the carpet didn't feel clean, the TV was older, there was no WiFi in the rooms (they did have ethernet). Several pieces of exercise equipment were out of order. And once the elevator wouldn't work. The staff were courteous, prompt, and helpful. They made our stay really nice.
