I stayed here for a concert downtown and first of all the location is great its RIGHT at the highway exit so its quite convienient, not far from the AF museum OR downtown.... Very clean hotel, room was clean, I love how its setup the pool is in this really cool atrium then some rooms overlook it, its a great setup try to get a room in the atrium rather than the tower.... gameroom, ping pong, pool table etc. for kids this place rocks!!!!

Can't get any closer to the Wright Patterson Museum

The hotel itself was clean and breakfast was the typical continental breakfast. The only drawback is that there is nothing other than the museum around it. If you want to have dinner you have to travel several miles to find a good restaurant.

This Hotel was awesome. We visited the United States Airforce Museum and it's right across the street! Doesn't get any better than that. The rooms were really nice and the staff was great too!

The king-size bed sagged toward the middle. The room was too warm (it lacked a thermostat and the windows could not be opened); when we called the desk about it the attendant said the only solution would be moving to a new room. The bathroom lacked an exhaust fan, so the mirror steamed up. Our daughter enjoyed the pool but the whirlpool (mentioned in advertisements) appeared to have been out of service for months. On the plus side, the room attendants did excellent work, the downtown location was great, the parking was free, and the price was inexpensive.

I was in town visiting friends. The hotel staff was very friendly. I felt the room was a bit small for what I paid. The parking also cost $6 a day. The location is nice. I was able to walk to the Dayton Dragons game easily. The hotel was in nasty looking shape, but they did note that they were under renovations.

This hotel was in a great location for our needs. Nice area with walking paths and park setting. Enjoyed the bar for a night cap while watching the World Series. Breakfast is nice, a little overpriced but convenient.

This hotel was very nice, friendly helpful staff, very clean,room very comfortable. Beds a little soft for my taste, but otherwise fine. We were on a college tour trip and it was very close to Univ of Dayton...otherwise, there is nothing surrounding the hotel, but it was fine for our purposes. Wish there was complementary breakfast, but would definitely stay there again.

Clean and spacious room with kitchenette and fully stocked with coffee, tea, and microwave popcorn. Full free breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, biscuits & gravy, juices cold and hot cereal, waffles fruit, yogurt, coffee, milk. Great spread! Close to shopping and restaurants and 10 minutes from the airport.

We have stayed here several times when visiting family. Neat, clean, quiet, convenient and roomy with an efficency kitchen. On the down side it's a little outdated and convenient parking is occassionally hard to find. Overall a good experience and great value.

There and Back Again: A Nerds Tale

I arrived right before the 3pm check-in, and they were able to get me into a room right away. That was nice. There's a restaurant there but I didn't eat at it. There were plenty of other good options in the area and there didn't appear to be many people eating at it.
The staff was helpful, and were cheerful nearly to a fault. While going in and out of the hotel I heard them talking to people on the phone telling them there weren't any hotels available. They gave the callers phone numbers for other hotels in the area, which was decent of them.
The area is ok, basically near Wright Patterson Air Force Base, and piled high with chain restaurants. If there were sidewalks anywhere along the Pentagon street there would be a couple of restaurants within walking distance. If you don't mind plodding through the grass then it wouldn't be a big deal.
The only gripe I had was that the fitness room, which had really good equipment, was often full and was in bad repair. Specifically, there was only one elliptical machine and it made this funny grinding noise when using it.
Overall it had clean rooms, a friendly staff, and good access to Wright Patterson so it fit my needs well.

It is now a Days Inn. [...]. It took about 15 minutes on the phone to straighten it out. Room was nice. Breakfast was so so and everyone had to complain because they were out of donuts and coffee and they had forgotten to bring out the cereal and milk.

We reserved a room with a king sized bed and a fridge. The first room had a full sized bed and the fridge didn't work. After switching, we were very pleased with our 2 night stay.
It wasn't the nicest place we've stayed in, but it meet our needs and then some. The fridge and microwave was very convenient to have. The bed was also quite comfortable.
The breakfast lacked. It had 2 kinds of cereal, donuts, muffins, honey buns, and bagels--all of which was usually under-stocked.

The hotel was located close to the AFB and severel restaurants. Was not impressed without the rooms and the cleanliness of the hotel. Was quite surprised to see smoking rooms in Ohio and to have cigarette butts in hallways. Most of the workers at the front desk did not seem to want to help with questions about the area. I would not go back next time in dayton.

For the price I think this is a decent place to stay. The only grip I had was that the shower in the room was backed up. Other than that, the room was fine. The location is nice because it's got its own parking lot with ample space, and you are less than a minute from I-75. The front desk staff seemed friendly when I checked in.

I'm sorry to say, there's only 2 good things about my stay at the Knight's Inn over the past few days. The staff was friendly, except for the fact that they failed to verify whether or not the room was occupied before opening the door, and it was in a good location, within a few minutes of everywhere I needed to go. Other than that, I found it lacking a bit. When I booked my trip, I specifically asked for a smoking permitted room, and wheelchair access, neither of which were accommodated even though my itinerary shows both requests. Thirdly, the itinerary plainly states that there was cable t.v. in the room, but most of the channels didn't work.

OUR ROOM WAS BROKEN INTO AND LUGGAGE WAS OPENED AND ALL OF OUR CLOTHES WERE THROWN AROUND AS SOMEONE WAS LOOKING FOR VALUABLES. THE FACET IN THE TUB WAS BROKEN ON THE COLD WATER SIDE AND WE WERE GIVEN PLIERS TO THE IT ON!

Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Dayton North is like most other Courtyard hotels: clean, comfortable and in general, a nice place to stay. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. We picked this hotel because it was close to both the wedding and relatives homes in Dayton. It is also convenient to the Dayton Airport and many restaurants. Breakfast was adequate but a bit pricey. It had a hot tub (nice!) but the pool was small and shallow (3 feet deep). Only one small elevator and parking is rather limited, but the staff was nice and helpful.

Clean with comfy beds and pillows. Plenty of selection and seating at the complimentary breakfast. Pool was clean but is on the small side. Has an elevator but did not have automatic doors and was difficult to enter with luggage. Friendly and prompt service.

When arrived at the rooms, the temp was roasting hot. Had to turn on the AC in the winter time...very loud unit made it hard to sleep. Parking can be sparse near the front and sides.

2 lights for main source had plug ins cut off. Told desk & never did get fixed. 2 towels for 5 guests. Ant infestation in bathroom. Pool was nice except for super over chlorination. Alot of shadey guests roaming balcony. Maid service mediocre as did not even make beds. Left clean towels. We had to vacuum our own room. Air conditioner filter filthy & inhibiting cold air. Breakfast nice, Wi Fi good, hair dryer & coffee pot in room nice except after 1 day, coffee not restocked. Just would not ever stay here again, even at price.

Needed a place to stay between Chicago and Columbus, OH for a weekend trip with my son. The hotel was very clean and well kept. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. The pool was well maintained, and my son enjoyed it. Did not notice the highway noise (as it was next to the highway, but easy on/off as I liked). It was a little noisy in the hallway and the door did not seem to keep out much sound.

We got in super late, set the alarm, and it didn.t go off. We were scrambling to get out by 11 am and if the staff had stopped bothering us...we would have gotten out a lot sooner....I didn.t understand the phone call and the maid knocking every few seconds, while I was trying to finish packing and get out...otherwise it was ok.

This was stop over before flying out of Dayton airport. We needed clean beds and a warm shower for a reasonable price. Days Inn provided all of those, plus a good location for food, gas, a movie and to the airport. I would stay there again.
