In town for a wedding in Sylvania. Made reservations somewhat late so not a lot of options. Comfort Inn was 75; wingate in Sylvania was 150, so went with Comfort. No elevator; make sure you can carry your bags up and down stairs. had to walk through "smoking" hall to get to non-smoking room. room was clean, fine, ok. because of economy price, hotel attracted guests who yelled and cursed a lot in hallways on the weekends late at night. Other than that, an ok value, if you are on your own dime and not getting reimbursed by an employer (would take the Wingate in Sylvania if getting reimbursed). I said yes would recommend to friend, but that means if they are on tight budget and didn't plan in advance to get better rate on better hotel.

Great location and great price
Experience was very good. Hotel was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was good. Only complaint is the very unpleasant odor in the stairwell of entrance B.

Convenient, clean, no frills
Even with the windows facing the nearby highway, I didn't notice noise. The service was good value for the price. Friendly staff, clean room, decent breakfast, perfect location. I'd go there again.

Lots of Hype
The facility is adjacent to the Ramada Inn. It is really "worn", carpets are discolored,and there was no tissue(for my wife) in the bathroom. The room actually was pleasant with the usual amenities/ They web-advertise free shuttle to and from the airport, but told me that this had not been functional for 2 years and they had not bothered to change their web site about it. However, only when pressed, they sent the Ramada shuttle to pick us up.

Lets say its average
Unfortunately had the first room off one of the enterances so it was a little noisy as you heard guests open the door to the hall. Found the bathroom very small and confining. Would have liked to had extra washclothes as I don't use the same one for body and my face.They had a sign out at the check-in desk that due to the holiday they were operating with reduced cleaning staff. There were no coffee cups for coffee and had to use the plastic cups intended for cold drinks which is not great for drinking a hot cup of coffee.

"Good location for family reunion"
We really only used the hotel for sleeping because we were out all day and evening visiting family. We were disappointed about the breakfast...not as good as before.

Short drive from hotel
It is a short drive to shopping and dining at Franklin Park mall located at Monroe St.and Talmadge Dr. This hotel is also close to the interstate 475. Toledo has a beautiful art museum and an excellent zoo.Restaurants can be found along the waterfront downtown, and the MudHens baseball stadium is also downtown.
