Pretty Good, Nothing Special
The hotel was good. Nothing special. It was a good value for a quick one night stay. Definitely not ideal for an extended stay (but then again neither is Toledo)

Short walk from hotel
The Restaurant in the hotel was decent... but dead. The Big Boy across the street was PERFECT for after 2:00 am dining!

Can't Wait To Go Back
The staff was great with wonderful attitudes...from the front desk clerks to the housekeeper they were all great...I can't wait to return. I pick this hotel because it's not far from UT where my daughter is a freshman...I was thinking about returning in two weeks I know this is where i want to stay...very nice

NOT SO GREAT!
[...] Once there I was given the option of SMOKING or no room at all!? The halls WREAKED of smoke and it was intolerable. Luckily I was only staying over night and was hardly there (avoided hotel like plague). Also, because there was a wedding at the hotel when I checked in I waited in line to get my room for over 35 minutes! The hotel was generally just run down and the rooms were dingy and a little scary. Over all - Not so Great, not so great at all!

Short trip
While it was close to shopping centers, it was a little out dated and smokey.

Good Location
We travel from Illinois to Toledo about once a month. Our last visit before this was not good. No hot water and no phone service. This trip we had my 2 year old grandson with us again. We approached the front desk before we left for dinner to make sure we could swim and what time it closed. They told us we could swim and that it closed at 10:30. Went to dinner, took the grand son shopping for pool toys, needless to say he was very excited. Returned from dinner to find the pool closed. The front desk informed us the heater had went out of the pool and could not be used. Information we could have used before we pumped up the toddler. Another associate over heard the conversation and told us it had been fixed and opened the pool for us. Once again disappointment. Water was ice. We have to return to the area in about a week. We may be looking for a new place to stay. Any ideas?

Great Hotel Great Price
Great location. Minutes from a huge mall & less than 10 min from downtown. The breakfast buffet was amazingly delicious and very reasonable.

I Expected At Least SOME Service
I had low expectations considering my stay was over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Despite this, the hotel completely shut down food and housekeeping services during the two day stay. There was no explanation from the staff why housekeeping was discontinued. I wouldn't have considered this property if I had known about the lack of services.

Needs up keep
I was disappointed that we requested a smoke free room and our room smelt of smoke plus our room was one of the rooms that did not have a no smoking sign on the door. My head hurt and I sneezed alot because of this.

nice overnight stay
The common areas of the hotel were very nice and well maintained. The bed in my room was very comfortable as were the pillows, and the sheets were very nice. Secor Rd. had very heavy traffic making it a bit difficult to get into and out of the parking lot though.
