Great for last minute plans

I wasn't expecting anything superb when I booked this room last minute. I will go ahead and inform you that though I was told there would be free wi-fi, we didn't have any. The rooms were clean and check-in was easy. The hotel was a quick 5 minute drive from Bricktown.

Bed Bugs!

The hotel was very inexpensive and the staff was very friendly. The room appeared clean but I am leaving covered in bug bites and itching all over. I wish I could recommend this hotel but I can't due to this issue and will not being staying there on future trips.

Went for Lakers-Thunder game & staff gave EASY directions to avoid traffic before & after game that were great! Motel parking was kinda tricky, but not bad. Rooms were nice. We would stay there again.

Clean rooms, Night staff, oh well...

I was in OKC to attend a conference & was very pleased to find a clean room so close to the Cox conference center at this price. I have stayed at this chain many times and knew what to expect. Unfortunately the door to my room was very difficult to open. I literally needed both hands free to get it open from both inside & out. The card key reader also did not work well. This circumstance put me in an unsafe situation where a stranger who would have frightened anyone "came to my rescue." He had difficulty getting the door open as well. I was blessed that though he had been drinking heavily his intent was only to help. The night desk staff informed me there was nothing that could be done. I did insist that key be reprogrammed which helped some. Still took at least 5 minutes to open door each time. I ended up propping the door open while loading & unloading. There was a car alarm that was going off continually throughout the night & the remote for the tv did not work. The best thing was that I could get downtown within minutes. The tub was sparkling, the day staff friendly and helpful, coffee maker was nice. There was a microwave & small fridge. A Denny's in the parking lot with a Sonic. McDonalds just across the street. Close freeway access. Old Heater unit noisy while cycled on. Room temperature varied quite a bit between cycles. If safety is not an issue for you I would recommend this hotel if you just need somewhere to stay for the price close the I40 & I35 interchange. Old hotel in an old neighborhood with clean rooms.

Please learn to re-caulk.

We stopped just to get a good nights sleep and a shower. The water was so soft it left you with that soapy feeling. And the tub needed to be re-caulked. The first impression you have of a shower is the walls, and the caulking. If they would spend a couple of bucks, they could get a 4 star customer rating.

They have a Denny's in the parking lot, so don't worry about a late check in. You can still grab some pretty good food fast.

Defiantly PET FRIENDLY

The Super 8 Motel in Oklahoma City (I-35, Bricktown) was close to lots of entertainment spots, the room was clean and big enough for 2 adults and a very large dog. The pet deposit was only $10.00. There breakfast was more then I'd expected, with a waffle maker and several breakfast pastries.
