First time staying at a Red Roof and I must say I was quite surprised. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Chech-in/out were quick and efficient. The room was very clean and all furniture appeared either new or very well maintained. Not a lot of amenities! But then who stays at a Red Roof for the "extras". Great location near the airport, shopping, highway, and close to downtown. There is also a multi-plex theater behind the hotel. I stayed at this hotel because it was not more than 2 hours from everything I wanted to see and do(Amish country, Gettysburg, NYC, and more) and would absolutely stay there again!

OK for short stay.
Red Roof was ok for an overnight before a meeting the next morning, but I don't think I'd stay there for a longer interval. I was disappointed that there was no shuttle service from the airport. Bed was comfortable, but the furniture and carpet showed considerable age, etc. Little packet was not nearly enough shampoo. No plastic bag available for laundry. Coffee in the lobby was ok, but a vending machine with breakfast snacks would have been welcome.

It was a decent place and all I needed was somewhere to sleep and shower.

Location, location, etc.
We came for the Drum Corps International's Eastern Classic in Allentown. And if you wanted to also take in the Musikfest in Bethlehem, the airport area is perfect. Also, plenty of restaurants close by and a new shopping center across Rt. 22.

Allentown Trip
Lighting and ambience are important to me. I liked that there were a lot of different kinds of lights to create what I needed, although the bathroom lacked a soft light for taking a bath - even some kind of night light would do it. Also, I would have liked a conditioner, not just a shampoo. Maybe a combo shampoo/conditioner? One last thing: I was taken aback by the styrofoam coffee cups in the lobby - replace the styrofoam, please. I was back in town for our mother's funeral. All in all, I felt taken care of and nurtured at your motel. Thank you for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. My housekeeper, [...], did a wonderful job.

Make sure you bring utensils because the super market next store is all bulk stuff with no deli - which is odd marketing right next to all those motels. I wanted ice cream so badly but had no way of eating it. Fortunately there is a Friendly's on the other side of the motel.

Good price
Wifi is a joke tried lobby and parkinglot but same thing. Mentioned it but the said it was because the motel was full. I dont beleave because I tried several times same thing every time
