So-So for a Hilton
The Hilton-Harrisburg is an older hotel. The room was OK, not terrific. The refrigerator was not working, yet they fixed immediately. I was put by the elevator, not exactly what I wanted - yet the hotel was at 95% capacity, so it worked. The HVAC in the room was OK, the house keepers turned the fan off during the day - making it very stuffy by end of day. The food at Raspberries, OK only. The wait staff very good. Breakfast buffet too expensive...especially if you only want cereal and fruit.

The parking garage is a bit of a hike, yet at least it was not a separate charge. All in all it worked out if you didn't have a lot of luggage to carry.

Trip to Hershey
Stayed 2 nights to visit Hershey, which is about 15 min away. Hotel stay was fine.

close by strawberry square has fast food and small shops. All under cover walk to and from hotel. Whitaker center features an IMAX theater.

Good location but some downfalls
Room was nice however lights and A/C were difficult to use. Staff was GREAT!!! Restaurant horrible: Glasses and silverware very dirty = had to send glasses back three times. Staff was very nice, and very very sorry.

Relaxing getaway
The hotel has a great selection of food. We especially enjoyed the breakfast omelettes prepared by Brandi.

Great Price, Huge Room, 15 from Hershey
This hotel was 15 mins from Hershey park PA. It has great night light in Harrisburg and a big room. The free coffee was a big plus and was actually good. Nice bathroom and good staff.

Around the block was a bar that served good drink and had a good night life. Plenty of females drinking in too much. Very good.
