Loved It

I stayed on November 27 for the Jay-Z concert at consol.. Doesn't get anymore convenient than this. But I loved the room too. Artsy, the bed was amazing and comfortable, though I couldn't get many channels on the tv which was odd. I loved that I was facing the civic arena which was my second home "back in the day" and headed to our new arena that night. The room was beautiful and clean, the bathroom was quite sexy lol. I would definitely recommend staying here. free shuttle too. nice deli store type area in the lobby, bar was nice. I really enjoyed it. I'd stay again.

A new Friday's is around the corner for pre-game or pre-concert food and drinks, but will be crowded.

The best hotel for going to Penguins' games!

I went to the Pittsburgh Penguins' game against Detroit Red Wings on December 13, 2011. The hotel is next to the arena. You cannot find the better hotel than this hotel! Everything was good. I'll stay here again next time when I go to the game again. :)

Random day trip

Took a day off from work and decided to visit Pittsburgh. The hotel was great. You do have to go around highways if you plan on walking to downtown, but it didn't take very long. If you are going for a Pens game this would be perfect since it is next to the stadium. The bed was very comfortable and there was a couch and tv that had an HDMI port in the wall connected to it which was useful. It had a pool, but I didn't use it although it looked nice.

Station Square seemed like a nice area for bars at night. The Duquesne incline and area around it is great for couples since you can look out over the entire city.

Short getaway

Hotel is new, close to downtown, loved the rooms and overall decor. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, only complaint was the hot tub was not as warm as we would have liked. I would definitely stay at this hotel again! Great visit!

Stinky sink, but beautiful hotel

We had a terrible smell coming from the sink the entire time we were there, but the hotel staff was very accomodating and helpful. The hotel room is beautiful, just a bit pricey when it comes to parking $14 per day and not providing complimentary breakfast, which would be nice for the price paid for the room.
