close to campus but not as nice as other
The room was ok, the bathroom shower was moldy. I had to ask for the coffee to be replaced every day, luckily I caught her in the hall. The pool everywhere noted stated it was heated. The room was heated and the pool was 76 degrees!, very very cold. Thi kids went in but not me. I was walking distance to all activities but next year we will probably stay at the ramada.

Great Location and good value
This location was a short 3 blocks to Penn State University, and seemed to be on the same side of town as most of student activity. This is an ideal place to stay, as it is close to everything (food, entertainment, etc.) and it was surprisingly quiet, despite all the student activity. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was essential, and the pool refreshing. The only downside to the hotel was the overcomplicated menu system for the TV.

There are a ton of restaurants in the area, and their prices range wildly. The hotel staff recommended some really interesting places to eat. Our favorite was a little whole in the wall bar below the corner restaurant. It had a cheerful vibe, and while it would be too loud if a band played was a great place for lunch.

Great Days at the Days Inn
Great staff! We got to the room and there was an unacceptable mildew smell. The staff did not hesitate in moving us to a different room. Overall, a great experience!

Great Location
The reason for our stay was to enjoy the nightlife in State College. There are many things to do while in State College. Examples may include; concerts at the Bryce Jordan Center, sporting events, nightlife, good eats, plays, etc. The one thing that I was extremely pleased with was the fact that you could bring pets for a small fee. Only problem I found was there were limited "potty" areas for the dog. Also, the staff at the Days Inn were extremely nice and helpful.
