Great Hotel!
All was great, beautiful on the inside, nice pool & jacuzzi, clean room, very friendly staff, and nice continental breakfast with a beautiful seating area. ONLY thing that would be better is to have a comforter blanket on the bed/beds instead of just sheets & a thin blanket. Room was cold & we couldn't figure out the thermastat, it was blowing cold air even after turning up the temperature.

State College area was hard to find things to do, except drink. So there could be more to do, just have to do more planning before you stay in State College.

Overnight Getaway
Hotel was great - rooms very spacious and clean. Great distance to Bryce Jordan. Breakfast was great. Great restaurant in the parking lot. Plan to stay there again when attending another event. Did not have a chance to try the pool or exercise room - but did look in...looked to be exceptable.

Nice, clean and great location!
This was a great room in a great location! The room was way above average with a nice big walk-in shower. Lots of good food and easy shopping right next door.

PSU GAME
Real nice & clean, probably my favorite place to stay at PSU. Expensive just because of football game is not right, but thats why I dont stay at PSU football games but once a year.

Covenient Location, Reasonable Price
Nothing fancy at this Marriott property, but it has what you need and is well located: right off the the Interstate, next door to a good restaurant/microbrewery, and reasonably close to Penn State campus and downtown State College. The wireless is free and works well; the breakfast is complimentary and has plenty of choices, and the rooms are comfortable. No in-room coffee makers or other upscale features, but coffee seemed to be available in the lobby at all hours so who needs to make their own? The one downside was that the housekeeping staff missed our room one day (out of 7), but other than that there were no problems.

The micropub/restaurant next door is fine but if you want something that is a little special, try the little community of Lemont on the other side of State College. There you will find a small coffee shop (Cafe Lemont) that serves excellent sandwiches, baked goods, and interesting appetizers and also showcases the works of local artists. They are open from 8AM to 6PM except Monday. Next door is the Alto Italian Restaurant, an upscale operation that is very nice. They are currently undergoing renovation but I had a very nice dinner there a few months ago.

Great Place To Stay
Everything about this hotel was better than average and the restaurant next door was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here anytime we're back in the area.

Nice rooms
Very nice hotel with nice rooms and all facalities. The only negative thing that I can think of is that they have slow internet and the TVs are old.

nice facalities
They have nice TV in lobby, laundry room, gym, pool, jacuzzi, 2 computer with internet in lobby and nice rooms. It is close to nice restaurants and couple miles from campus.
