Great campus visit
Came to campus to visit my son and attend his reading. This property is so convenient and very comfortable. I wish i had stayed here on the last visit. In the future I would only consider staying here. Loved eating at Whiskers.

Up for the weekend
The Nittany Lion Inn is a beautiful hotel located at the upper left corner of the PSU campus. Our room was furnished with a four-post bed, and had other fine furniture included. The Inn has that Victorian look and feel, and is well kept and very clean. A nice bonus was the wood fire near the lobby where we warmed up before walking down to College Ave. for dinner. The atmosphere is comfortable and indulging. The staff is very welcoming. I made a couple trips to the car the next morning and four of the staff were in the double set of double doors to open them for me. That's rare. The room was $125+ tax ~= $148. Expensive, but exquisite and worth the value!

Understated elegance
It's a treat these days to stay in comfortable class. Understated and a cut above the cookie cutter chains.

Upscale Stay in College Town
My boyfriend and I were celebrating our recent engagement. The hotel was great. The front desk staff were very informative and friendly. Our room was clean. The best part of our stay was the food though. There were free snacks in the lobby outside of the dining room, and the Sunday brunch was fantastic! If you go, I recommend going early as the omelet line gets long very quickly. Would definitely go there again.

Super hotel, wonderful location
The staff was a step-above in every respect. Could not have been nicer and the hotel's van was always available to transport either on or off the Penn State campus.
