Campus Visit
The Penn Stater was perfect for our recent campus visit. We arrived late on Thurs for our Friday tours so we didn'[t get to use their facilities but everything was very attractive from the surounding garden areas to the conference areas. All the staff went beyond expected seervice. At check-in the front desk staff actually came around to the front to go over the campus map and noted a good walking tour for us and what buildings to check out. We ordered room service 10min before closing and they were curtious and prompt. The shuttle staff was great, also pointing outplaces on campus and picking us up within 5 min of calling sending out a special shuttle. The staff made a mistake on the room charges when i checked in but the the staff quickly corrected it when i pointed it out at check out. All in all a great stay and i would deffinitly try to stay there again.

Room service was good but i'd avoid the black and blue chips. Not as good as they sound.

Fair and Adequate
The staff is friendly and helpful. However the rooms need to be updated - especially the bedding. The bathroom amenities are outdated too. Please upgrade!

Great time!
The staff was very helpful. We liked that the room was so clean and there was plenty of room for our family of three. The onsite restaurant and especially the pub were staffed well and the food/service was excellent.

Penn State Footbal with ease
I love the location - it is easy to avoid football traffic when you are not going to the game. The staff is top notch and accomodating. My 4 1/2 year old loved being able to go swimming for her Sat evening activity following a good dinner at the Garden restaurant. CDT at my door and a fire in the lobby fireplace helped make it feel like the home I return to year after year for Homecoming and Blue White weekends.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
My 4 1/2 yr old is too young to have $70 spent for a football ticket - so we went to Penn's Cave and had a fun time on the boat ride exploring the underground caverns and above ground seeing Bison, Elk, etc. Nice way to spend the afternoon.
