Visiting family in the area wanted something affordable but clean and safe. I was totally satisfied in these regards. When I was booking, I was concerned when I saw that the pet policy was for a maximum of 4 per room! (That's a lot of pets in a small space.) I did not notice any pet odors in our room, but I did notice several pets in the windows of other rooms, and would be reluctant to book there again knowing that there is such a liberal pet policy.

Was in town for my daughters graduation and found a gem of a hotel, filled with charm and history. service was excellant, location perfect, valet parking that was prompt and didnt cost an arm and a leg.

Stayed there for one night with my husband. Nice location, right in the middle of town and we could walk around. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Continental breakfast was just muffins, cereal and coffee, but for the price, this is the place to stay!

We weren't there for too long - so we didn't use the pool, gym, bar or restaurant.
The room was nice, the staff were friendly. The tub was a little dirty (they could use some soft scrub on it), but overall it was a fine place to stay. The beds were very comfortable. It's fine for the $ and location.

been there 2 times, very nice for the price, breakfast buffet is ok, a bit pricey at $10 for hot buffet. overall very nice, has pool and workout facility. only issue i had was because i booked with [...] they wouldnt let me get a king bed, i had to stick with 2 double beds.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee maker didn't work, but there was a very nice mini fridge and microwave in the room. The walls are painted a rather horrid yellow color, but for the cost one can't really be too picky.

I needed a clean, warm place to sleep with a shower and a tv. I wasn't there for hotel amenities. They did provide a basic continental breakfast that was just that. It was a fair value for the price paid. You get what you pay for. I would stay here again next time I need a room in York.

We visited family in York. The hotel was clean. The room was nice, adequate size. Bathroom - OK. The bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Breakfast was what you'd expect for this type of hotel: meat, potatoes, eggs, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. There's coffee, tea, and hot chocolate 24/7.
This hotel is located on a major street, close to West Manchester mall and numerous restaurants. Overall this hotel is adequate and we would stay here again.

Pretty good, a little dated. Room was clean and AC worked. Had coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. No phone in the room. Continental breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about.
Visited my daughter for surgery and stayed one night only. There was a pool but did not use it.A little too close to hwy when you're trying to sleep.

Fine location...some road noise but not too bad. The price was great but the room needed a little cleaning. The main traffic areas were fine but don't look around the edges. Boarderline between accepable and a dump. Might depend on which housekeeper and which room your get. My nearly blind grandma could have spotted some of this dirt.

York View Hotel is centrally located to all the things we did in York, AEBallooning, The Amish Buggy Ride and various nice restaurants. The hotel was clean and the maid service was good. The evening check-in person was courteous but poorly groomed. We were satisfied with the accomadations for the price.

I visited my granddaughter at college-this hotel had many problems and I think I am being charged by them for my stay even though I paid you in advance-reservation was screwed up-no locks on outside doors-smelled of smoke-to open room doors and close them extremely noisy-could hear other doors being opened and closed all night-they are trying to upgrade the hotel but it has a loooonnnggg way to go

I was traveling for a weekend of wedding festivities and needed a place in between York, Hershey, and Lewisberry. I choose this hotel because I had heard positive feedback. The room was clean and stocked with plenty of towels. It even had a good size mini fridge! It was fairly easy to get to and was surrounded by CVS, Walmart, and Weis. Good location, clean, and helpful staff....can't go wrong!

The hotel is very nice and the front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast has many choices, both hot and cold, and it was very good. The hotel is clean and the carpeting in the hallways looked recent. The location is excellent - directly across the street from the Galleria Mall and next door to the Texas Roadhouse. It is also within a mile of many other great stores and restaurants. Lancaster is only 30 miles away, a great place to visit.

This was a great place to stay. It is brand new, rooms were very clean and modern with a separate sitting area so we could put the kids to bed and still have a living room/kitchen to sit in. Great TVs in both rooms and a very kid friendly pool. Also a very pleasant surprise was a nice hot breakfast to send us off...a great bonus with children!We will definitely be coming back!

The hotel was excellent. The staff was great! The only problem was locating the hotel. Our GPS could not find it. The WORST problem was that the printed Orbitz confirmation DID NOT INCLUDE the hotel phone number so we COULD NOT call the hotel for directions! For new motels it is very necessary to have a telephone contact, as many people that we asked did not know the hotel or the street!

Good value, Just what I needed

I was in York overnight to see a band with friends. Check-In was quick, The room wasn't spotless but it was adequate. If you want no frills at a low price, this is perfect. Close to everything in York too.

Perfectly pleasant stay, much better than last time. No interruptions or problems, warm room and comfy bed. However, the computers were down so paying cash for the room was pointless, as my debit card got charged the next day. I was warned this may happen, which I appreciate, and I'm sure it will be refunded promptly... minor inconvenience but it is definitely something that should be fixed.

good place to say for the price

The hotel was definately worth staying in and we plan on staying there again. The only problem we encountered was the bathroom had hair on the toilet seat which showed me that someone really didn't take as much time as necessary to clean properly. The bed was very comfortable and the close proximity to Interstate 83 was excellent.

Great Place to Relax and Golf

1st Impresstions were not good as When asked the front desk ( 4 to 12 shift) if thier were any golf specials at the resort. Found out latter at golf course at the resort that thier was a $35 special with cart. as well as discounts on Hats and drinks at the pro shop and 19 hole.
The rest of the staff in the resort were great my wife had a massage while i was golfing and taking a golf lesson, food was better then good just under Great
