The Super 8 York PA is located on PA Route 30 at I-83 Convenient to Downtown York and First Capital Historic Area. A.S.A. Softball Facilities, Galleria Mall, and The Harley Davidson Plant and Museum. York College and York Campus of Penn State University are nearby and we are centrally located between the Pennsylvania Dutch Country of Lancaster and the National Battlefield and Museum at Gettysburg. All of our nicely decorated rooms feature King, Queen and Full size beds, Alarm Clocks, Hairdryers, 27 In TV with Cable including HBO, ESPN, and CNN. We invite you to join us for a Superstart Breakfast daily, and you can connect to our Free High Speed Wireless Internet from anywhere in the motel. Microwave and fridge in all rooms. Expected for the price

The staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee maker didn't work, but there was a very nice mini fridge and microwave in the room. The walls are painted a rather horrid yellow color, but for the cost one can't really be too picky.

Cheap

Hotel was close to the destination I was going to be attending. The front desk clerk was friendly except for when I asked if I could switch to a non-smoking room. The front desk clerk said that no changes could be made to the reservation. I have never heard of a hotel that won't let you change rooms. I know that the hotel was not booked and the clerk could have granted my request. The room did smell really bad when I opened the door and was not very clean. There was hair all over every surface of the bath and sink area. I was impressed that there was a mini fridge and microwave inside the room.

Would Recommend to family and friends

I enjoy the friendly staff and the rooms where spacious and very clean. the price was very reasonable for the three night stay. The staff also was helpful with giving me numbers for cabs,etc. I would recommend this!hotel to friends and family and will use it again. It deserves 5 stars

Disappointed

Staff spoke very poor english. Not the cleanest.

Average hotel experience

After hearing another guest complain that dirty linen was piled up on their bed, I didn't quite know what to expect. The building had a funky odor to it, too. Overall, the room we stayed in was clean and satisfactory. It was a good deal for $46.

Good room for the price

I needed a clean, warm place to sleep with a shower and a tv. I wasn't there for hotel amenities. They did provide a basic continental breakfast that was just that. It was a fair value for the price paid. You get what you pay for. I would stay here again next time I need a room in York.

The day I turned in my truck

This was a buisness and personal trip all in one.I had to put the hotel in Janelles name because I was turning in my truck to Barr-Nunn.Janelle checked in and later picked me up at the yard.Thank you for your service it made everything go smoothly. Sincerely William T Bartos

It was stayable

For the money it was ok. The beds were very comfortable and had good shower and hot water. The staff was of India decent so you know things are but so clean. The carpet really stunk at first after buying Febreeze it got better.
