Great Value, especially off-season
The room was clean, though obviously it's a well-worn hotel, the carpet and windows have seen better days, but it's right on the water, and within walking distance of everything in Narragansett. I'd go back, though the hotel is less-family friendly than one would like.

Nice Oceanfront Dive!
Love the location; nice staff; great for walks along the seawall; good that you can take advatage of breakfast at the nearby partner Village Inn. Be warned though; do not expect modern luxury; This is an old hotel in need of a renovation.

Good hotel but somewhat pricey
The location is fantastic- right on the water in Narragansett. The hotel itself is average but bumps up to good because of a little second sitting room that leads to a small balcony. Seemed very clean though. Pool/meals/fitness room are a block down the road at a sister hotel, the Village Inn, so if you want everything in one place, go to the Village Inn. However if you don't mind a short oceanfront walk, the Atlantic House is just fine.

What a joke!
We were coming to Rhode Island in the off season to attend our good friend's wedding and chose this hotel because the features on-line looked good and it was close to the Towers... if we'd only known! All the features listed on-line are for their "Sister-Hotel" The Village Inn. The restaurant, pool, breakfast...everything! There was a huge storm and if we wanted our free "breakfast" (just muffins) we would've had to walk over there in the rain. I notified the hotel that we would have a late check-in and got a call while I was on the train that the staff was leaving and I had to check in at the "sister-hotel" down the street. That's strange... there's no one there at night!? When we got there a sign was on the door to enter at the side with no indication of which side to go to. After walking around the building in the dark we found our way to the staff-less entrance and our rooms, which were FREEZING. There was no control for the heat! The "Balcony" they mention is about 3' wide, but 6' long... like a weird hallway. There were burn marks on the carpet and couch and a hole in the floor covered by carpet. There was no clock so we woke up just before check out, and then they gave me attitude when I called down in a panic asking for a later check-out! If you want a pool or breakfast and you're thinking of staying here you should just stay at the Village Inn. If you want a nice stay at the Ocean that's near the Towers go to the Ocean Rose, which is LOVELY and has a great restaurant. Avoid this place... it's not worth the hassle!

Turtle Soup at the Ocean Rose is amazing! The lunch menu price isn't bad and they have the best Pumpkin Pie I've ever had!
