La Quinta Inn & Suites Columbia NE Fort Jackson

Book this room for my mother that was visiting my brother at Fort Jackson. She was pleasantly surprised in this hotel, as her original option was booked up and also a bit pricey. The staff was helpful and the rooms we on par with the higher priced options in the area.

After a nice stay here last year, I didn't have any problems booking another stay here. However, I will not do so in the future. For this stay, I needed a roll-a-bed and requested one when I made the reservation. I also noted that I had a late check-in due to my schedule. They found my reservation without a problem and so I asked if the extra bed had already been put in the room. It hadn't and when I asked if they would do so, they responded they couldn't since they only had one (in a three story , 99 room hotel mind you), and it had already been claimed. when I stressed I had made a request for one, I was snootily informed "we don't have to fill requests. It is first come first serve." Had I known that, maybe I would have been better served to spend 5 extra bucks for a place that would be happy to fill a customers request. Very disappointing.

First of all, I received a great rate. The room was fine, I had no issues other than the bathroom being smaller than I would like but I would definately stay again.

Staying at this La Quinta rocked. The staff was very helpful, professional and polite. This hotel was nice and quiet the way I like it. I would like to say the fridge door didn't stay shut but that was not a problem for me. If I visit S. C. again I will most likely stay there again. Straight from the STL.

The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful, they went out of their way to give me directions to the base and what was the best gate to use, gate 4. I highly recomennd the La Quinta NE Ft Jackson for anyone attending boot camp graduation! There were many eating places near the hotel which cut down on travel in an unfamiliar area.

great experience, front desk agents were all very friendly. rooms very clean, overall my stay was very pleasant..

the room was clean and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. the only drawback was that the "high speed internet" would cut out and it was not a strong signal when it was connected.

I was going to a military graduation so I was only there for one night. I didn't check-in until around 8 P.M. I went to the room and went to wash my hands but there were no soaps anywhere in the room. I sat down to call the front desk and the phone wasn't working. As I was sitting on the work table, I saw a piece of paper crumpled on the desk so I opened it up and it was somebody's notes (apparently the last guest left it there). I went to use the bathroom and the toilet seat had black specks on it so I had to clean it before using it. The TV and internet wasn't working due to a huge storm that night. I went downstairs and told the front desk. They got me some soaps and shampoo. I travel frequently both for business and pleasure domestically and internationally. I must say that this hotel is over-valued. Definitely not worth the money I spent.

This hotel was easy on/off from 20 and only minutes away from Gate 2 at Fort Jackson. Pleasant staff and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay.

Close to Ft Jackson, many restaurants and shopping. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Clean room, very nice selection at breakfast and breakfast area very clean. Would definitely recommend. Office staff very pleasant.
