Nicely located, about a minute from highway, 15 minutes from midtown downtown, beautiful and many places to eat since its near college, variety of foods. Hotel had breakfast, covered all the basics. Rooms are confortable, free wifi.

Very pleasant overnight stay
The lobby was not especially impressive, but the staff was friendly, and the room was excellent. Everything looked brand new, and the bed ws comfortable. My only complaint was one I almost always have wherever I go: There needs to be brighter light around the mirror! Although this was a busness trip so I did not have a dog with me, I frequently travel with a dog, and I was delighted to learn that LaQuinta allows pets.

great experience
The staff were very friendly. I don't have any complaints at all. I was feeling ill the morning after our one night stay, and the staff extended my stay by 2 hours, so I could rest before our drive home. The room was nice, and everything was very clean and comfortable.

We took a taxi to the Runaway Runway Show(6 miles away from hotel). It is highly recommended for next year in 2013! The Sheraton hotel has a great lunch that includes soup, panini, and salad for only 8 bucks!It was delicious!

good night sleep
No shuttle taxi cost us about $200.00 The Three of us only had two coffee cups and two water drinking glasses. the main gate was over 10 miles away.

ARMY MOM REVIEDW
I had no idea how to choose a hotel clear across the to the east coast, so I chose a name that was familiar & I was NOT disappointed. My room was fantastic & the staff were too. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing that could use some improvement is a bigger breakfast room, but the breakfast had many good choices & worked perfect with my schedule.

Very convenient location to Fort Jackson
Receptionists were very pleasant and helpful. If you're here for the army graduation they even have printed directions to Fort Jackson which is only about 10 minutes away. Very helpful! Be sure to check for coupons to restaurants down the street. Rooms weren't very large but comfortable. Large fridge and microwave were a plus!

Ft.Jackson Basic graduation

Better Than Expected!
I had read mixed reviews on this hotel & really second-guessed my choice, but was very much pleased with my choice when I arrived. Knowing that I couldn't have gotten any closer to my destination, the location was the best. This hotel looked newly updated & the staff were so helpful. Breakfast buffet had good choices, but the room was small. It would have been nice to have coffee in lobby, but that is my only suggestion for improvement! If you are going for Military Graduation, I give this 2 thumbs up! ARMY MOM

Nice and helpful people at the front desk. Cleanliness of the room leaves a lot to be desired.. Floor was not vacuumed during our 5 day stay. Bathrooms are in need of repair. Outdated.
