No problems with the room, staff was friendly. Nothing stood out as excellent. The location was perfect for me and my event. The hotel is in front of the mall and located to a number of shopping centers and restaurants. Would choose this hotel again, if nothing else for the location.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was spacious and clean. The location could not have been better.

When we checked in during the middle of the night the staff was cheerful and helpful. Told us about free dinners, continental breakfast. It was the friendliest hotel I have stayed at in a long time. The whirlpool was closed due to state regulations and the pool was outside so wasn't open yet but other than that it was a great place to stay, close to a major highway and lots of things to do within walking distance.

My friends and I were in town for a graduation ceremony at Fort Jackson. When we drove up to the hotel, it looked very nice, just like on the web site. The lobby & rooms are lovely. We had some really helpful staff members--the airline lost our luggage & had it delivered at 2:30AM the day of the ceremony. We wanted to avoid last minute panic shopping so we asked the front desk if they would slip a note under our door when it arrived, which they did & we SO appreciated. The breakfast buffet was the best one I've ever been to at a hotel. It was nice to get (free) yummy Otis Spunkmeyer cookies and daily paper too. While there were 2 drawbacks (hot tub not working & a obviously dirty glass that was never replaced by the cleaning staff) , I definitely recommend staying here.

When we showed up the pool was closed, the spa was out of order and the rrom was not ready. The first night, the pillows looked like round logs and my young children ended up using rolled up sweatshirts for pillows. When I caqlled the front desk, the answered I got was that is all we have. The next morning, a cleaning lady gave me some new illows that worked for the kids. The management staff was not helpful, but the hourly staff was very helpful. We tried renting a movie on the second night and the night person could not get it to work. It went from there.

Very convenient for our travel, clean and easy access from the interstate. Even had free beer, wings and salad for happy hour. And when we left at 4AM, the coffee and breakfast were ready and free; what a pleasant surprise. And the staff are super; can't ask for better.

The hotel is very nice and accessible. A lot of restaurants nearby and a 10 minute drive to the zoo and the state museum. I was a little disappointed with the breakfast bar in that the selection was not great, but it was reasonable. We stayed in a double room with 2 double beds, (for 4 people), but there were only 2 washcloths and 3 towels left in the room by housekeeping. The front desk staff quickly provided extras but you would expect the correct number of towels, etc. for the accomodations. Overall a very nice place to stay and the staff was very polite and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone coming to the Columbia area.

We wanted to check in early, they let us.The rooms were clean and spacious. When we arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon, they had a fantastic buffet set up, to include ice cold beer. Very nice. Comfortable bed, great shower, very friendly and helpful staff. An absolute bargain. 20 minutes to Fort, across from Mall, German restaurant was excellent (recommended by staff). We were there for military ceremony and this hotel made the trip really good. Highest compliments!
