Shorewood Oceanfront Villas

This Hotel was a great experience. The Rental place was very friendly and had awesome customer service. They upgraded us to a bigger room for no reason and that was very much appreciated. The price for the condo was amazing. The room was a little messy when we first got there. We found some things wrong, like the diswasher disposal was broken and the screen but we are college students so it did not bother us at all. The view and rooms were great size. The beach was our backyard. It is very private you need codes to get in everywhere but it felt very safe. This was an awesome place to stay, our other friends who stayed here had a great experience as well.

It was a very nice experience. Would go back again. The location to a lot of things was great. Liked the fact that it had a security gate.

As this was a condo not a hotel, didn't expect all the same perks. Had to check in at a realty office down the street to pick up the key. When our room wasn't what we thought, had to go back to the realty office for a key to see another place, which was worse, then had to go back to the office to drop off the key. Checked in on Sat., on Mon. a crew started maintenance in the parking garage which was directly below our bedroom. For the next 3 days we woke up at 8am to the sound of drilling and pounding into cement. Once again asked about switching condos and had to go back and forth with keys to the realty office. They were not able to tell us how long they would be working under us and we took our chances and stayed as there were 5 of us and didn't want to pack and unpack again. The condo itself was good size and in great location, but could have been cleaner. Dresser drawers and cupboards were dirty, stained carpets, appliances old, coffee maker worked sometimes. Couldn't open the dishwaher door all the way as it banged into the oven. For the amount of money we spent, we expected a much better experience.
