The Breakers Resort

Perfect location with everything you need just steps away. Staff is very friendly and pleasant. Very nice area and steps away from the beach. The only thing I would change is they need bigger towels at the pool. We had to lay on dish towels on the beach..lol. They were very small. Other then that, a great place for a great price!

Nice lazy river and pool area ! Poor supervision of children around pool area , lady attendant was scared to say anything to people . Allergic to smoke and they allowed smoking around pools . Rooms were clean but very tight , hard to move around in it . Great access to beach ! ! ! Walking distance to shops and restaurants !

Me and my wife went down for our anniversary. We enjoyed it. The location was great and the room was clean. The staff was friendly. Will stay there again.

I loved the view. The staff was great...room was very comfortable and very relaxing. I will definitely be back soon.

I went in May and of course it wasn't crowded (yet). But everyone associated with the hotel was in good spirits and very friendly. The room was what I expected, clean, well kept, the little fridge and appliances were in working order and clean, too. Get a good rate, see some ocean, do the breakfast buffet at Papa's, and get a 4-star place at the beach for a few days before the summer heats up.

We booked a short stay. The location on the sand is great with beautiful ocean views. The staff was friendly and helpful. Good options for food and drink nearby.

It's been a while since I've been to Myrtle Beach, and the wife and daughter have never been. We decided to take a few off and head on down from Cherokee, NC. The Breakers was very nice, and we had a great time. The hotel was perfect walking distance from the center of the Strand, and it was chock full of amenities, such as The Red Parrot, a lazy river, and multiple pools. Eating establishments were a short distance from the hotel, so, no problem there. Weather was perfect for the entire stay, also. All in all, this was an excellent trip, and The Breakers was a solid place to stay. Much thanks, all.

The Pro's: The Hotel is right on the water, and close to much of the Ocean Blvd. Activities. The Outside Area was landscaped very nicely and kept clean, with many pools and areas to sit in the sun. Parking just across the street, and really not bad. The Con's: Could hear alot of noise from the road, and spring-breaker parties/people. The Ocean-view room was on the side of the Hotel, thus a limited view of the water. Of the 3 Hotel towers, the one we were in was older, and although adequate, the rooms could use an up-date.

We have stayed before. We had the same Friendly, Fast service. Happy faces greating us when we checked in and out. Everyone there to help us throughout the resort. Food in a all loctions in hotel was great. Always feel like we are visiting friends at the beach. Love the new boardwalk. They need bigger towels in pool area and more places to deposit the used ones outside.
