Just Average
While the hotel was clean and the staff was excellent, for a small town like Sumter, the price is a bit too much. I would recommend this hotel, but I would also share that they can stay in the same area for a little less.

Can't wait to go back!!!!!
The pillows were to die for. Loved everything!!! We did find socks from other guests under the airconditioner but I'd go back in a heatbeat!!!!!

HIE Sumter
Outback is less than 50 feet from the front door. Roadhouse Steakhouse, Applebees, Golden Corral, IHOP, and Hibachi Grill all within 200 yards. For a business traveler like myself - that makes this HIE the best.

Great Hotel!
This is a very nice hotel. It is comfortable and clean. However, while I was there the air conditioning was broken in the lobby, hallways, and breakfast room. It made walking through the hotel uncomfortable. The room AC was working (thank goodness) or else I would have been extremely uncomfortable. Also, breakfast was offered daily to guests. It was delicious, but you had to get up before 9:30 am to eat. They close the breakfast bar down at 9:30 am. I have to say that on the weekends, you want to sleep in. It would be great if breakfast lasted until 10:00 am or 10:30 am. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast includes hot food. It is a full breakfast. The location is fine, but we had a car. It is located near restaurants and other hotels. Their business center has two computers available for hotel guests.
