It was ok
The hotel was ok. The bathroom is very small. There was not enough parking, so we ended up having to park on the grass. They need to send smokers farther away from the building. The side entrance closest to our room reeked of cigarette smoke. The hallway and room had a musty smell, maybe this is typical of humid eastern SD.

overused motel
The hotel seemed rather worn and in poor condition. The carpets were dirty and stained. Could use a real make over.

Good Value for the money
This hotel met out needs as an overnight stop in Mitchell enroute to Yellowstone. It met our stop over needs. The staff was excellent, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Our family had to split between rooms as there was not an option for six.
